"Stayed in Saffle in February 2018. Excellent well equipped cottage, warm and comfortable, beautiful location, quiet and peaceful area. Bettina and her husband are a very friendly couple, who greeted us at their lovely cottage and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is very well equipped- cooking facilities including, fire wood, towels and everything you would need for a homely stay away on holidays. Would highly recommend this Cottage, would love to go back to visit Sweden in the Summer...

"Das Haus liegt wunderschön ruhig und der Vermieter ist vor Ort gut zu erreichen und sehr hilfsbereit. Man ist auf ein eigenes Auto angewiesen, erreicht dann aber Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Freizeitangebote (Wanderstrecken, Strände am Vänern, Draisine,...) problemlos und in annehmbarer Zeit. Der Blick ist wirklich herrlich und die große Terasse und eine überdachte Sitzecke sind gut möbliert, so dass man sich fast rund um die Uhr draußen aufhalten kann. Durch das kleine Nebengebäude mit Bad hat man...

Ufer mit Grillplatz 100m, erstaunlich wenig Mücken für einen Binnensee. Bei der Anfahrt über den 3 km Schotter-Waldweg glaubt man auf den ersten Moment falsch zu sein. "Very relaxing place. The finishes were somewhat dated, but that added to the overall charm of the cottage. The separate single unit was very popular with the kids, and the lake view makes you want to stay forever! "Nice little cottage surrounded by forest but minutes from downtown Amal. A few extra steps to book, but nothing difficult. Modern interior, fully stocked kitchen with fridge, stove, microwave and coffeemaker, king size bed, strong AC in the main room, nice hot shower. Bring your own linens and towels, they are not provided. Indoor bathroom has a camp toilet, easy enough to figure out. FYI, parking is about 80 feet from the cottage, no driveway or sidewalk. I would definitely stay again."

"Wie haben das Haus für zwei Wochen gebucht. Am ersten Abend hat uns direkt ein Elch begrüßt, dieser kam weitere drei Tage bei uns vorbei. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, einziger Punkt der vielleicht nicht so toll war, die Waschmaschine färbt helle Sachen ein, ( eisenhaltiges Wasser ) man riecht es auch beim duschen :D War aber ok für uns! In der Nähe gibt es schöne Naturreservate die man erkunden kann. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen."

"We enjoyed our stay at the Stadshotell. The room was great overall, although it could use more counter space in the bathroom. Frukost was great, although you need to learn to make CRISPY bacon, not lumps of fat. Restaurant menu was outstanding. You need a photo of Amal's most famous singer in the hallway: GUNNEL EKLUND, instead of all the blues singers who have no genuine connection to the city."

"The staff was not present for check in and we had to wait a long time. Despite great weather the staff did not open the pool. Broken shower door and broken furniture at breakfast. Staff refused to put out more breakfast despite many guests arriving 15 min before breakfast closed, so we did not get proper breakfast or even coffee. This place needs to rethink. "

"The facilities were good, clean and the staff was always very helpful. The only concern was on our first night stay when the fire alarm went off at 10:30pm and there was no one there to direct the guests on what to do or where to go. After half an hour someone finally came and turned the alarm off. There was no response from the fire department!"
