The Space:

The apartment offers 80 m² of comfortable living space across the middle floor and loft, combining a central location with a peaceful setting. You can easily reach Tórshavn’s shops, restaurants and city life, then return to a quieter neighbourhood to relax after a day of exploring.



A well-equipped kitchen



The kitchen has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including an oven, induction hob, dishwasher, freezer, coffee machine, kettle, toaster and blender. Pots, pans, cutlery, plates and wine glasses are also provided, making it easy to prepare anything from a quick breakfast to a relaxed dinner.



A cosy living area



After a day exploring the Faroe Islands, unwind in the living room with a TV, Chromecast and streaming services such as Netflix. Board games are also available for a relaxing evening at home.



Enjoy a terrace and garden area where you can relax and get some fresh air. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the home, and free parking is provided right by the house.

One of the apartments’s greatest advantages is its location. You are close to the heart of Tórshavn, with shops, restaurants and local attractions within easy reach, while the peaceful surroundings offer a welcome break from the noise and activity of the city. It is an ideal base for discovering Tórshavn and exploring the rest of the Faroe Islands.



Guest Access:

Guests have the whole townhouse (middle floor and loft) to themselves. Check-in is self-service with a lockbox, so you can arrive at your own pace. Free parking is available in front of the house (one space) and along the right-hand side of Hornagøta, where there are plenty of spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be considerate and do not take space from the neighbours. Pets are not allowed.



The Neighborhood:

The house stands on Hornagøta in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands and one of the smallest capitals in the world. The town is known for its colourful turf-roofed houses, narrow lanes and the old harbour area of Tinganes, where the Faroese parliament has met for centuries.



Tórshavn has a good selection of shops, cafés and restaurants, many serving fresh local seafood and Faroese specialities. The surroundings offer dramatic nature, with green hillsides, sea views and walking opportunities close to town.



The town is also a convenient base for exploring the islands, with roads and tunnels connecting to many of the best-known sights, villages and viewpoints.



Getting Around:

Free parking is available in front of the house (one space) and along the right-hand side of Hornagøta, where there are plenty of spaces on a first-come, first-served basis. Please be considerate to neighbours.



Tórshavn is well connected by road to the rest of the Faroe Islands, so a rental car is a convenient way to explore. Public buses also run from the capital to many parts of the islands. Vágar Airport, the Faroes' only airport, is reachable by road from Tórshavn.



Other Things to Note:

Check-in is from 4:00 PM, and check-out is by 10:00 AM. Please respect the house rules and take out trash before departure.

Would you like to arrive a bit earlier or leave a little later? We provide both early check-in and late check-out for an additional fee. Please reach out in advance to confirm availability.

It is also possible to order a baby cot and a high chair for an additional fee.

Please note that a local tourism tax and administration fee apply to all stays. These are standard requirements in the Faroe Islands and will be arranged separately closer to arrival.
