What a charming space. The cabin was wonderful and spacious with incredible views both day and night. The only complaint would be the squeeky floors. Food at the patio was amazing! Plan to come back again. At night you can even see the milky way.
The place was rustic and small. They had two restaurants - we ate at the Patio. The food and service were good. This was a perfect place to sleep after our trip to Capitol Reef.
Nice place to rest when at Capital Reef. The bathroom did have a lot of hair left over in it from the previous people staying there, but other than that it was very clean and nice.
Great place to stay at a very reasonable price. It's an older hotel with all the charm you would expect. The front desk was super helpful and extremely friendly. I highly recommend the pizza place just down the hill. The pizza was superb and the staff were super friendly. Oh, you can't beat the views...absolutely priceless!
The Rim Rock Inn was very sweet. The room is simple, very rustic and cabin like decor. The views from the Inn were beautiful. The restaurant was excellent. Good, quality food and friendly service. Lots of big windows to take in the magnificent views. We had two delicious dinners here. Really enjoyed watching the hummingbirds just outside one of the many windows. They do not offer breakfast, but the hotel just accross the street had delicious, generous breakfast options, They also had great, freindly service.
Our room was clean and the hotel was quiet. The restaurant at the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. The only thing I didn’t like was the bait boxes everywhere outside for mice control which I understand nobody wants mice in their hotel however bait boxes poison mice but don’t kill them instantly so the mice continue to wander around and get eaten by raptors and other animals that then suffer secondary poisoning. It is a horrible death for the mouse and other unintended target animals.
The room was nice and clean enough. The was a few cobwebs up in one corner of the ceiling but those happen. The place was nice for a one night stop and having 2 restaurants right there was super handy. All in all it was a good stay for where it is. I don't ever anticipate being in that are again but if I were I would stay there again.
Bathroom left a lot to be desired. If they made the shower bigger and redid the floor, it would make a big difference. And making coffee at 7am when most people leave to start the day in the hot sun. At least start it at 6am if not earlier. If I were to stay here again, I would get a cabin. Staff was friendly and helpful and grounds were nice.
