This was a great stop for us! Lovely lobby, bar and dining. The beds were extremely comfortable and the pillows were the best! Not super unsafe around, but, as a woman, I wouldn't walk alone.

Was a terrible stay, 1st the shower was retaining the water and suddenly we realize that there were chemicals fluids and hurts my wife's feet since the water didn't run. Then we asked the front desk for support and their response was really poor (slow) then when they confirmed our issue they decided to move us for another room, now this room was really warm and we realize that the AC was not working we went again to the front desk and they communicated me that the AC for the whole hotel was damaged and they expect to be in the same condition for some days. it was a really huge difference in temperature between rooms to really believe that the issue was affecting the complete hotel..... this is our 2nd time in this hotel in the last 6 months this time was really bad the service and conditions for the hotel....we used to visit relatives in Torreon, and we used to stay there for a weekend every 3 months in avg and we were looking for another option after using the Holiday Inn for several years without any major concerns there. We must return for sure to the Holiday Inn for our next trip to Torreon.

I liked the indoor pool, althought it was a bit warmer than expected, but definitely better than getting into a cold pool. They just have to do much maintenance in the ceiling in that area, it's not well taken care of. Also some floors don't have an ice machine, and the one I did find in the floor where the pool is, didn't work, I had to go to the bar to ask for ice (because the room didn't have a mini fridge, although it had the space for it in the closet/TV stand). The room was nice, some details on the floor and bathroom to fix, but in general it looked good. It definitely recommend to configure the TV to the original language, because basically all the movies were in Spanish. The staff at the front desk was in general very nice, the one at night helped me out with a bunch of documents I had to print and was nice about it. The breakfast buffet was okay, good options, although not everything had labels to know what they were, but pretty complete (you could even ask for a milkshake).

I’m very good breakfast food, bar is very accommodating as well. My only complaint is my rooms ac wasn’t functioning properly and on our last day we woke up to a fowl smell in the hotel.

Torreon is just fine
The sauna and steam room were closed; fixtures in the pool shower area were broken. The breakfast buffet is very good but pricey. Nice to have an elevator! Location is not very good for walking anywhere. The beds were fine and TV was OK.

Crowne Plaza Torreon was a good choice for us.
Everything was pretty good with the hotel accommodations. Check in was and check out was very easy. Hotel is located in a fairly safe area and was close to everything we needed. Breakfast was great at the hotel restaurant. All in all it was a great stay for us. We were there for 3 nights.
