"House was lovely….multiple stories with a sea view from everywhere. Enjoyed the patios, jacuzzi and pool. Quiet area during the week, but neighborhood got much busier on the weekend. Only negative is the drive up/down the mountain. Thought it was a little treacherous on some of the curves and switchbacks if another vehicle was approaching in opposite direction. Manager and owner were very quick to respond to our questions. But those views….."

"We went on a family trip to Spain and stayed at this villa, and would highly recommend. The location was perfect, about a 10 minute walk down to the beach and a short drive into town. The villa itself was incredible. It was spacious, clean, and upscale. The pool was a treat to have as well, and the views from the pool/balcony are unbeatable. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely like to come back. We would recommend this villa to everyone!"

"When we arrived we were greeted in a friendly manner. Everything was as described or as you can see in the pictures. We especially liked the large pool, the outdoor dining area, the simple furnishings and the proximity to the sea. If you had any questions, you immediately got a friendly answer from the owner. "We spent a month at Maremar. Our only complaint is that our stay wasn't long enough. We can't wait to come back! Peter and Lucy are fabulous hosts and the property manager, Carmen, is wonderful to work with. On the practical side the home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It's far enough from the center of towm to be peaceful but close enough to walk to the market. The location was perfect for day trips throughout the area. It's paradise! The views from the home are spectacular....

"We were a group of 6 friends who hiked, played scrabble, did some sight-seeing, and enjoyed some good food and wine, all while looking out over the town of Begur and the sea. The view is fantastic! We took the same photo over and over, at sunrise, sunset etc. The villa is very well equipped. We found everything we needed in the spacious kitchen and it is just a short walk to a grocery store and numerous restaurants. The house accommodated the six of us quite well with some of us sharing a room....

"Excellent property in an amazing area of the world. Clean, friendly staff and a location that can't be beat. We saw some folks struggling with the stairs and it is a 15 minute walk to a sand beach or a 5 minute walk to a smaller beach. If you're not going to eat on site then it's an $18 euro cab ride into Begur or a 15 minute walk to the nearest restaurant. This worked well for us but it won't work for everybody. We loved the stay and completely recommend the property"
