"I booked this hotel based largely on the fabulous looking
pool
. We arrived to find it was closed for the season. The surly receptionist said their terms make this clear (I checked their website and found nothing). It put a dampener on our stay. The main restaurant was also closed. We were advised we could use their other restaurant. We checked it out, it is really a locals bar, which I normally wouldn’t mind but it was filthy. Tables were uncleared and cigarette butts lay everywhere. Shame...

and a nice restaurant with a good choice of foods - ideal for travelling when you do not know what you prefer to eat after a long journey. Helpful staff and they were speaking English to me despite me trying to speak to them in Spanish. Would definitely stay again."
