"Pros: La casa es una auténtica monada: la decoración castellana, la calidez del salón con chimenea, el tener tu propio baño en la habitación, la cantidad de menaje para no preocuparte de la vajilla, los detalles ( playstation, futbolín,máquina recreativa, palomitera, equipo de música, parrilla con leña....) es que no tiene un pero. Todo está pensado al más mínimo detalle para que no te falte de nada y te sientas mejor que en casa. Recomendable al 100%. Ideal para familias y grupo de amigos."

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing place, it has character. Good little bar with a terrace (I think it is part of the hotel). Parking is tight for cars, bit worried with some of the cars reversing out of it. One of them nearly hit my motorbike…. Luckily I was there to remind him to watch what he was doing. Good view from the terrace and very close to town bars. I’ll visit again."

"This is a nice hotel, very conveniently located to access the centre of the town. Staff were friendly and the single room was small but perfectly adequate although the bathroom felt a little cramped. Arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was disappointing that the cafe was closed after having had a difficult journey. Nevertheless overall it was a good experience and excellent value for money."

NH Zamora Palacio del Duero

"Zamora Palacio del Duero is a large hotel situated near the river and convenient for the Old Town. The hotel has its own underground car park which is small and pretty tight, and I had to do quite a lot of manoeuvring to get my Audi Q5 in and out. Main public car parks weren’t obvious and, on a Sunday afternoon, every street and small parking area in the vicinity of the hotel was full. No doubt on other days parking might be easier. Check in was welcoming and our Premium room is spacious, very nicely furnished and comfortable. It also comes with a large and luxurious en-suite bathroom and a nice terrace. In short, it’s the sort of room that makes you wish you were here for more than one day. Breakfast here is top class with an excellent buffet selection of fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses, tapas and innovative dips and spreads. And although the buffet includes scrambled eggs and bacon, you can also order freshly cooked eggs, bacon and sausage. Service throughout has also been excellent and this is a top class hotel in all respects."

"I booked based on price and Expedia guest reviews. Upon arrival I looked at Google Maps to see check-in time since I was early, but when I saw VERY negative guest reviews there I was very concerned and had I seen them I would not have booked here. With apprehension I entered and requested early check-in. I was greeted and my request accommodated. There was strong chemical odor that dissipated after opening my windows, but other than that the room was clean and very nice. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. No English at all, but I'm in Spain so IMHO the language issue is on me. Great location. I extended 2 additional days. Great value. Will stay again. "

"Posada Real Castillo del Buen Amor — The Castle of Good Love — is aptly named. The original fortress dates back to the 11th century, and in the 14th century it was transformed into a palace. Today, it offers guests a unique opportunity to step back in time while enjoying historic rooms equipped with modern conveniences. Dining in the restaurant — located in the original dungeon — was a highlight. The food was excellent and moderately priced, adding to the overall value of the stay. The castle is conveniently located about 20 minutes outside of Salamanca, making it an ideal retreat while still accessible to the city. The only drawback is accessibility. Due to the historic nature of the castle, there are numerous stairs, which may present challenges for guests with limited mobility. Overall, expect to relax, explore, and fully enjoy the many unique rooms and spaces throughout this remarkable property."

Valbusenda Hotel Bodega & Spa

"From the moment we arrived at hotel, which was almost midnight, we were treated like family. The warmth and attentiveness of Alberto made our first night unforgettable. We were welcome by two drinks and Alberto set up the perfect temperature of our room to our like. During our visit, I unfortunately got stung by a wasp, but the way the hotel mobilized to assist me was truly remarkable. They quickly provided a tweezer to remove the stinger, applied alcohol, and even offered mud from the spa to soothe the pain. The staff kept checking on me, making us feel cared for and loved. The accommodations were impeccable. Our room was clean, spacious, and featured the most comfortable mattress, ensuring a restful stay. We also enjoyed an excellent selection of ambient music that added to the relaxing atmosphere. A special shoutout to Lorena and Belén at the front desk—they exemplified true hospitality, helping us store our locally purchased cheese and chocolate and booking all our activities since our Spanish is not proficient. The spa was a highlight of our trip, offering various treatment pools and saunas that left us feeling rejuvenated. One of the most memorable experiences was the wine tour led by Mr. Mogul. His passion for winemaking shone through as he spent nearly three hours guiding us through the process and allowing us to taste some outstanding wines from this amazing winery. 100% recommend it to anyone! And thanks to all staff and the business owners!"
