Perfect place to enjoy lake Como

We had a lovely time. Torno is an idyllic little village with great food. The villa has stunning views of the lake and provides all necessary comforts. You can walk up into the hills from the villa and reach Como and around the lake easily by boat or bus.

Amazing views!

This place was amazing. The views at all times of the day are breathtaking. The host was very helpful and responsive. It is a bit of a walk to the property but my elderly in-laws managed. Parking can be a bit tricky but doable. Amazing overall experience. Will 100% stay again.

Nice stay with beautiful view

Though the property is a little bit up the hill, it's worth it since the view from the terrace is great! The breakfast alone up there every morning is a refreshing experience. The communication with Pietro was always extremely fast and he was very helpful.

Our stay in Torno

We had a great stay at Pietro’s place. Communication went very smoothly. The view from the property is amazing. Torno is a lovely town, the location of the house is very unique. We liked the fact that there were 2 toilets. Some of the beds / furniture could use an upgrade. We did a wonderful hike behind the house, definitely worth it!

My family and I recently stayed here for a month. We could not have wished for a better location and stay than at Villa Rosa. Pietro made us feel right at home and was always available for suggestions or advice on the surrounding area and town as well as beautiful hikes in the area. Our kids had plenty of room to play outdoors on the terraces garden below as well as the one on our level. The place is clean and has all required amenities for a pleasurable stay. The view of the lake is absolutely enchanting and visible from every room. Really feels like home and by the time you leave you’ll wish it were!

Wonderful days in Torno

This property met our needs perfectly. While it is a bit of a climb from the car park to the house, the view and the peacefulness are worth the effort. Despite the hot weather, the interior of the house remained cool and comfortable. We ate most of our meals on the lovely patio under a large umbrella. The owners were most helpful in providing us with information about restaurants and places to swim. We really enjoyed swimming from the small beach in Careno. Because parking is so limited, we left our car in the car park and used the bus and ferries to get around and this worked out very well with a little planning.

A lovely house with a great view!

We stayed at Jasmin No. 1 for two weeks this summer and it was a really pleasent stay:-) The house has a very nice, Italian atmosphere with spacious rooms and Pietro and his family are really helpful and welcoming. The view of the lake and the mountains is spectacular and Torno is a very charming small town with a well equipped grocery store, a gelateria, a cosy bar, etc. There are some very nice, small and quiet beaches nearby in Fagetto Lario (5 min. by car or bus). Previous guests have mentioned the walk from the parking area to the house: the walk takes about 10 minutes, and it is beautiful but also a bit steep (35-40 metres). We highly recommend a stay in Coerezza's wonderful pink villa:-)

A classical residence at the hill of a nice little village Torno, overlooking a marvellous Como lake

The house is situated at a hill with a nice and large garden with enough places to relax, enjoy a drink or meal and have the nicest view on the lake and. Small villages across the lake of Como. The house is equipped with more than enough to have a good bed, nice seats, good dinners etc. Pietro was helpfull upon arrival and leaves you to enjoy your stay in your own way. The dayly walk to the house is a good way to keep up your excercises as living up the hill and within the property is relaxing and confortable. We like to hike in the hills, have dinner in the nice rstaurants in the village and loved the small city-harbour with its pitoresque bar and friendly citicens of Torno.

Une vue, de la villa, sur le lac et les Alpes, exceptionnelle.De nombreuses randonnées sont possibles à partir de la villa. Les propriétaires sont à la fois très à l'écoute et très discrets. Wunderbare Aussicht auf den See mit ein paar Einschränkungen

Das Haus liegt oberhalb des Sees in Torno. Wie in der Anzeige beschrieben gibt es keine Zufahrt zum Grundstück, sprich alles Gepäck muss zu Fuß bergauf getragen werden. Dauert ca. 10 - 15 min. Der Weg besteht wie viele Wege in den Orten am See aus Natursteinen - die Rollen von Koffern kommen da schnell an ihre Grenzen. Das Haus verfügt über einen wunderbaren Garten mit unverbautem Blick auf den See. Immer im Hinterkopf behalten: der Vermieter wohnt unterm dem selben Dach. Wer sich also also komplette Privatsphäre haben möchte, ist hier fehl am Platz. Die Wohnung verfügt über ein separates, externes Bad mit Waschmaschine, eine Küche, ein Wohnzimmer, Terrasse und im oberen Stock über 2 Schlafzimmer, ein Bad und Balkon. So weit alles top: die "abers": man zieht quasi in die Familienwohnung mit privaten Fotos, Büchern und eher älteren Möbeln ein. Die Zimmer im Erdgeschoss riechen etwas muffig, kann aber auch dem Kamin geschuldet sein. Ein Schlafzimmer im OG ist Durchgangszimmer zum Bad. Die Alternative ist das zweite Bad im EG - dazu muss man aber nachts durchs Freie laufen weil dieses nicht aus der Wohnung zu erreichen ist. Parken in Torno ist nicht unbedingt ein Selbstläufer. Im Zweifel hat man etliche Meter zum Auto zu laufen. Am Ende entschädigt ein Frühstück auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den See aber für vieles.

Très belle vue de la terrasse, un endroit très agréable. Torno est un bon choix pour circuler en bateau entre Côme et Bellagio. La maison est propre, cuisine et salle de bain un peu datées mais fonctionnelles. Attention, accès la maison un peu difficile avec des très petits ou pour des personnes âgées ou avec beaucoup de bagages (on se gare dans le village puis on monte à pied 6 à 7 minutes dans des ruelles).

Absoluut geen parkeerplaats na bij lokatie. Ca.50 meter omhoog .laatste stuk zeer slecht onderhouden

Je moest naar een parkeerplaats zoek. Ca. Minimaal 12minuten klimmen/afdalen naar/van lokatie. Lokatie zelf prachtig inclusief. Uitzicht. Inrichting oude meuk. Welletjes en schoon. Geen passende deksels voor op de pannen etc

Charming villa in a lovely town. Wonderful views of Lake Como. Welcoming and most helpful hosts who really made our stay pleasant. Be aware of the steep walk to the house from parking areas, but one gets used to it.

We had two days in Torno and the place and house is really beautiful. Just pay attention not to bring to much lugagge as the the place has no road access and you need to carry it up the hill. Very kind host. Thanks a lot !

Très bel endroit. Maison très romantique, le charme de l’Italie.

3 jours autour du lac. Une vue sublime depuis la maison. Seul petit bémol en hivers, la chambre enfants traversante.
