"Convenient to the local beaches we wanted to explore, interesting layout with the two detached rooms, but worked well for us. House was well stocked and had a homey feel with artwork and furniture galore. The cookie the host left were devoured by my horde in moments of arrival and greatly appreciated. Laundry, linens and kitchen were very well stocked. Unlike some places that have four forks, spoons, towels, glasses and and maybe 2 dull knives, this place had what you needed."

"kitchen was fully equipped but it was difficult to store our own nonperishable food for lack of suitable space. the downstairs bedrooms are aged and could do with a spruce up."

"Adequate room. Pub below noisy. Power sockets by bed don't work. Extraction fan in bathroom needs cleanout. Staff were lovely and was so appreciative of late checkin."

Fiona and Chris went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time at New Plymouth by providing insights about the attractions near by and letting the kids explore their wonderful property.
