Typical of Japanese business hotels, it is small and tucked away. But once inside there are everything you need. Toothbrush, shaving supplies, towels, and bath salts. Clean and tidy rooms, if a bit tight for those who are used to continental scale buildings.
It is fantastically close to the Ueno Station which is one of the hubs to trains, and for spending any time in Tokyo, that is a must.
Staff doesn't speak much English, but tries very much to be helpful, communicative, and pleasing, which is rare for tourist business in Tokyo these days on a budget.
Recommended for self-guiding, budget single or couple tourists or businessmen.
Tons of very good restaurants nearby too, all walking distance. Even the tonkatsu shop right outside next to the hotel, a mom&pop eatery next door was cash only, and homey, but delicious and cheap too!
Definitely will use again if I have to come back to this area of Ueno or Akihabara.
