The location was very convenient, close to shopping, restaurants, and train station. The room was a lot smaller than anticipated, it's for 2 people max. There in no closet to store luggage, so it will always be in the way. The bed and pillows were also extremely firm.

Should notify people making reservations that the Godzilla terrace and cafe are closed before making a booking. Hotel was nice, great location. I would definitely recommend adding the breakfast buffet with your booking restrictions.

Great central location. Disappointed in that the Godzilla area was off limits, and there was no common area to hang out in and work on computer, have a coffee, etc.

Great location for transport, food and nightlife; hotel is clean and staff are very helpful. Room sizes are very small but that’s Tokyo - in my room there was no cupboards or storage just two small indents in the wall with space for three hangers each. If you travel light you’ll be fine. One thing to note, it that due its location you have to be aware of the streets you walk down as some have aggressive touts trying to push you into going to what I assume to be strip clubs. That did make me feel unsafe but once I knew the streets they operated on and avoided them it was fine. All in all a great three star hotel with compact rooms.

This hotel was great! Very clean and staff very helpful. They drop off clean towels outside your door daily without asking for them if you put on the “ do not disturb” which is amazing. The location is in the middle of the Shinjuku life yet hotel is quiet. The city view is very nice and the size is comfortable even if small it is made efficiently.

Rooms are a bit small but manageable and very quiet. Shower, sink and toilet are all separate which was nice, but the shower is like a shower room with no curtain, just intended to get the whole room wet. Staff was friendly and helpful and held our luggage both before and after check in without problems. The Godzilla head terrace was closed off, which was a bummer but the landmark always helped us find our hotel which was nice. Laundry was easy and ¥300 to wash, but gets busy even with quite a few washers and dryers. It’s a big hotel. Next time I probably wouldn’t stay in Shinjuku now that we’ve visited the city and understand the neighborhoods a bit better- Shinjuku area especially by the hotel is like Times Square. Huge, lots of shopping and restaurant options and also lots of trash. My kids saw a man sleeping on the street one morning, we’re assuming from drunkenness and not homelessness? But the utter lack of trash cans anywhere means there’s a good deal of litter on the street everywhere. Not the fault of the hotel, just a comment on the area.

Room was fine. The front desk and all information said the restaurant served breakfast until 11 and brunch from 11-2, but when we got to the restaurant they said no brunch service was available. We also picked this hotel for the lounge and Godzilla head and we're disappointed to learn that the lounge/terrace was closed and there was no access to the Godzilla head. This was disappointing.

While the surrounding area is very busy with lots of bars and restaurants, the hotel rooms were very quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful and wanting to make sure your stay was very good. Breakfast buffet had wide choice of dishes available.

Great, central location in the middle of Shinjuku. You're in the heart of the nightlife scene and an easy subway trip to anywhere else. Oh, and the Godzilla theme is so cool! It's a classier hotel than you might think, rather elegant, but with a huge Godzilla diorama in the lobby and a Lazer shooting massive Godzilla on the roof! The rooms are tiny, but this is Tokyo, so it's to be expected.

Hotel lobby on 8th floor so one has to change elevators and wait for them x2 each time. Large facility with huge number of guests. Despite the resulting chaos the staff manage it very well. Rooms are quiet and nice. On 30th floor, minor earthquake that happened during stay was barely noticeable. Would have been a long walk down had we needed to evacuate. Area around is "lively" but borderline seedy. A bit of a hike to get to the Shimbuya station for subway so that's a negative. Cabs routinely available at door however. Breakfast buffet is decent but not remarkable.

The hotel is fairly nice. It was a bit frustrating though that the Godzilla deck was closed. The area around the hotel is not very clean and is a bit questionable. We’re from NYC so it wasn’t a big deal to us. The lobby restaurant though has a very limited menu and that was a bit annoying; especially when dealing with 2 jet lagged kids. The staff was fairly helpful. The room was fine. The price was okay too. The location near Shinjuku station was pretty solid too.
