They thought of everything, coffee and tea for the morning, balls and a fluffy bed that our pup thoroughly enjoyed. Clean, comfortable, hosts were great. Nature trail was beautiful. "The McKenzie River house is right next to the river and all of its magnificence. Everything inside the house is there for you to enjoy the river and your stay. We are a group of plein air painters and this was our annual retreat.The wide deck above the river was very important to us to set up our easels for the views.The front wooded acreage was an alternate subject for our paintings. The sunshine through the trees beautiful.Tim was so reassuring and attentive, leaving flowers and wine to welcome us. Some of us enjoyed the hot tub, outdoor shower, and river swing. We cooked fabulous meals in the well appointed kitchen. The huge dining table was our gathering place.This was one of our most favorite places to paint outdoors."
