"I really liked Arwana and would stay here again. It’s literally right on the beach. The water is crystal clear and baby reef sharks swim around happily. Perhentian doesn’t have any roads so the hotel can arrange water taxis. We did the Redang island trip and the snorkelling trip, both arranged by Arwana and they were both excellent. Don’t go expecting a 5 star experience, but this hotel has a rustic charm, the room was nice and clean and the pool is a good size. It’s peaceful and exudes chilled...

Les chambres étaient situé tout en haut d'escaliers, dans la forêt. Très sombres, sans fenêtre et très petites. Je suis allée voir la réception qui m'a gentiment fait visiter 2 autres logements. "I would say this was with the cost for sure, but you get what you pay for. There was no sink in the bathroom and the toilet sprayer kept falling off. So it was worth it for the price tag but certainly not anything fancy. "

"I’m giving this hotel 2 stars mainly because of the cleanliness and the overall condition of both the hotel and the room, which felt quite run-down and in need of maintenance. On the positive side, the staff were kind and helpful, and the location is definitely a strong point. However, considering the price we paid (over €100 per night, almost 500 MYR), I don’t feel it offers good value for money. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend staying here unless improvements are made."
