Lakefront Ski Chalet w/ year-round Hot Tub near Camelback

Recently Renovated with beautiful wood floors, our home is on a gorgeous picturesque lake with all the luxuries. In the heart of the Poconos, the lake house is approximately 10 miles from Camelback, Alpine Mountain, and the Tannersville outlet shopping plaza with over 100 stores. It's also only 5 miles away from Mt. Airy Casino.
It's located near grocery stores and restaurants as well as activities such as rafting, skiing, hiking, golfing, biking and some of the countries largest indoor/outdoor water parks such as Camelback and Kalahari. The home is situated on a spectacular lake with crystal clear water and filled with big fish for awesome angling right off our expanded dock or using our row boat and 1-3 person kayak. The Community also has a children’s play park, and tennis and basketball courts and pool.
The house comfortably sleeps 10 people. One room has a king bed, two rooms have queen beds, and the third room has a full-on–full bunk bed which sleeps 4 additional guests comfortably. Enjoy the year round sun room overlooking the lake. After enjoying the lake relax in our huge 8 person hot tub (open all year round), or by the lakeside fire-pit. After skiing come home and sit by the wood burning fireplace. Along with the recently remodeled kitchen and baths and beautiful wood floors, our year-round lakefront home in the mountains is a must stay retreat for your next family vacation.

16th birthday getaway

The place was great to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. They hung out in the hot tub and we were only 25 minutes from Camelback to do some Snowtubing. We all had an amazing time.

We celebrated my son’s birthday with family, the property was clean and as pictured. The property had access to the lake and boats for us to use. Along with many personal touches that made it feel just like home. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this property to friends and family!!! Best trip we’ve had!!!

Great Stay

First time renting this property and certainly hope to return again, hopefully when it's a little warmer. House was meticulously clean and very nicely laid out. Fireplace was very nice in the very cold and snowy weather. Hot tub looked great but chickened out going in since it was 9 degrees after dinner :) Needed to contact the owner a few times prior to our stay and once after we arrived and he responded immediately. We love this area of the Poconos (we've visited the area many times) and the house is close to just about everything you would want, e.g., Mt. Airy Casino and many taverns and restaurants. The lake looks beautiful and hope to come back and do some fishing in the fall.

Family vacation

Lake is beautiful, house is close to attractions for children. The house was fine for 5 adults and 2 children. The dock and paddle boat could use some work . Pool/ beach fee is expensive. Enjoyed our stay on the lake, fishing from dock and rowboat.

Everything was as expected. Easy access to all stores and major highways. Just note only towels and bed linens are included, not wash cloths. There were plenty of trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, and toliet paper for our short stay. Love the wood burning fireplace. We want to book this house this summer as well.

Nice getaway close to jome

My wife and I wanted a few days away from home. It was close enough to central Jersey that one married son with his wife and baby came for 2 nights along with one unmarried son. We were hoping for snow just for effect but didn’t work out this year. We relaxed by the fireplace and did some hiking. The place was clean and comfortable. The beds were available. The owner was very responsive. More than enough room to park the 3 cars. We enjoyed our stay

Nice weekend getaway

The owner gave very clear written expectations for our stay meaning what was provided in the house, how to check in, use the key pad, and how to check out. Hot tub, row boat, and walkway to lake could use some up keep. Seems like owner is in process of updating outside back deck and steps. House was very clean. All appliances worked and we used the washer/dryer frequently. Lake is amazing. My son was out before sun rise fishing and the kids loved the two person kayak. Trash can was already full when we arrived but we stacked on top as instructed. Bedding, sheets and towels were all freshly laundered. We had a great time. Owner was also very nice when we accidentally set off the fire alarm. Be careful w that touch pad!

50th Anniversary Family Celebration

This property is in a quiet residential neighborhood right on Lake Carobeth. The amenities listed are accurate, although you may want to pack extra flatware, face towels, washcloths and dishcloths. The bathroom on the first floor was tiny but shower, toilet and sink all worked well. Our daughter needed to devise a makeshift tub stopper to bathe her 2 year-old in the upstairs tub. Our biggest disappointment was that the 5 days we stayed here Lake Carobeth had harmful algae bloom so we could not boat/kayak safely. That, of course, was not the fault of the host. However, we felt he should have been aware of this and alerted us. We did spend a day at Tobyhanna State Park which is close by. Another problem we encountered was that we were not given the welcome packet upon check-in. When we arrived at the pool with our barcoded pool passes we learned that we needed the purple passes as well to enter. This was not the host’s fault either, but we do recommend that a note should be included with barcoded passes to alert guests to this requirement. The lighting on the path to the dock needs some repairs for safety and the cushions on indoor and outdoor porch furniture is rather dirty. The overhead lighting in the living room is broken and no other lamps. If you have small children like we did you will probably want to relocate the large glass cylinders next to the fireplace and the two-tier glass coffee table. Overall we had a great time and made many memories.

I have been trying to get a family vacation together in the mountains for several years. This place was perfect. It was very clean, beds were comfortable and had all the comforts of home. Use of boat was so much fun. Fishing was great. Everyone had a great time. Would love to rent again.

Great house for a college reunion

Perfect location for three couples who went to college together to have a little reunion. We were all coming from different parts of the east coast to meet up and it was the nicest little weekend trip for all six of us. Perfect size home while staying cozy. All the beds were very comfortable. House was super clean. Well supplied kitchen (we cooked dinner both nights and used the Weber grill) hot tub looked amazing but we didn’t get to use because it was so cold this weekend. Had a nice time fishing off the dock. Plenty to do around the area and many places to get groceries. Would love to comeBack in the summer. Ray the owner was super responsive and check in process was seamless. Thank you for a great weekend.

We had a little snafu shortly after checking in. The owner was great! The hot tub was amazing as well as the views! Beds were comfy and we had a great time! Definitely want to book there again! I had a horrible experience at my last vrbo and this was the perfect weekend getaway.

The owner was VERY communicative after booking and before and after our stay. Check in was easy. The amenities were as advertised including the hot tub. 3 good bedrooms on the upstairs area, including a room with bunk beds. Downstairs was another bedroom and bath. Kitchen and bath were well stocked with hand and dish soap, paper products, towels and bed linens. Everything was clean and inviting.
