Relax with family and friends at this peaceful country home. Come for a fun ski weekend in the winter, and lake side living in the summer.
Central location close to the outlet mall, multi ski resorts, and downtown Tobyhanna.
Private gated community with lakes available in the summer and even a dog run all year round. Stay indoors by the fire making yummy s'mores and lasting memories. Every room is equipped with a smart TV, 75 inch in the living room for the big game. Full size W/D in basement.

Great Home!

Very homey place to stay! Perfect for my family and we enjoyed our stay. Very clean and smelled nice. The beds are very comfortable and the sheets were very clean. It has everything you could need, great basement with air hockey which my kids enjoyed. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Retreat

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The property manager was wonderful to work with & communicated throughout our stay. We loved the daily visits from the deer. The house has so much room to spread out both inside & out. We loved that the instant you walked in, you could smell & see that it is clean.

Gated community with nice amenities

We stayed for a long weekend in mid October. When we first arrived you can see the front steps were recently redone. The deck is also new and larger than the pictures which was a nice bonus. Unfortunately the weather didn't hold up for us to enjoy the deck or the fire pit outback but we got to relax in the house which was fine with us. We were able to take our dogs to a dog park just a couple minutes away in the community the first night which was nice. We thought it was cute there was a little basket when you first walk in with dog toys and treats. The house was really clean; probably one of the cleanist we've stayed in. The large tvs and comfortable couches were great for a relaxing weekend as well as the air hockey table. There's a dart board also but our aim is awful and it's a little to close to a window for comfort so we skipped that. Overall we would definite stay here again.

Weekend Cheer Getaway

Had a wonderful stay with my Girlfriend and dog while attending my daughters cheer competition at Kalahari. Veronica was a very welcoming host and made everything very easy leading up to and during our stay.

Great Stay!!

The house is very cozy, clean, and modern! The property managers were very responsive and attentive to everything. During our stay there was an ice storm and our property manager coordinated snow removal and salting without us even asking! It is a great location with many activities to do around! We highly recommend this property!

Wildlife Getaway

Cleanliness of the property was very good... Host was great & very helpful...Property setting was beautiful & the fact that the wildlife will literally eat out of the palm of your hand was priceless... Host has many activities & games there at the house & evening bonfires were sooo relaxing... Definitely a 5 star stay...Thank you very much!!!

Peaceful Getaway

Pros: The property is clean and you can smell the cleanliness as soon as you open the door. The house was well equipped with towels, sheets and everything else needed to make our stay comfortable. Our kids, ages 5-14, enjoyed the house and set up. Spacious enough so we didn't crowded. Dog was allowed which made the stay better! Owner was very responsive and attentive.

It has so much protental

CONS: Leak in the roof, and a few minor details from dust on vents in bathroom and some hanging lights in the basement. PROS: big TVs, comfy couch good beads, nice back yard area, close to the beach and dog park! Central location to a state park and kalahari

Secluded, quiet location full of deer

THis was a nice property but smaller than I expected. I think it would be tight to have the number of people stay there as there are beds for, however, the option is nice. The one thing that should be corrected is the slippery steep stairs both interiorly and the stairs off the deck. My dogs could not go down the steps at all in the house without hurting themselves, slipping and sliding, crashing to the bottom. We had to rig a carpet that we purchased from a store onto the steps from he living room loft area to the front door so the dogs could at least be on two levels with us and go outside to go to the bathroom. The other complaint is the grounds of the property are full of trash discarded boots, cans, a cooler, literal trash everywhere, cans bottles, etc. Very disappointing and also for a "dog-friendly" property there was no where for the dogs to really go to the bathroom unless we walked them to the park or someone else's property.

Birthday Weekend

We had a great time bringing our two boys (9 & 10) up for a birthday trip to Kalahari. They enjoyed being on the bottom floor in their “own area” and game room and playing games downstairs. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away! Also great to be able to bring our dogs and the deer even came to visit us all!

Getaway

My husband and I went for a weekend getaway. The house was nice and clean. The host left us a bottle of wine and there was candles everywhere! It made for a really great romantic weekend. Ty!
