"Conveniently located for a visit to the Tiwanaku ruins (next door), this hotel makes an ok stop after crossing the border from Peru at Desaguadero. It bills itself as '4-star', but it's not really. Spacious hotel has seen better days and feels a bit neglected inside. Very friendly and helpful staff, and a decent meal was provided (although the restaurant was not open). Secure parking was a plus. Bed was completely knackered and felt like most of the springs had collapsed. Water warmish-hot...
