"Very clean. We loved our quiet, modern renovated room with lovely linens and a jetted bathtub. The pousada has a nice pool and deck/garden area. Its landscaping is beautiful and offers both shade and sun. The front desk (Marcia) and housekeeping staff (Rebecca) were particularly welcoming and helpful.
We found the breakfast to be on the modest side. This is unfortunate because many of us are fans of the Brazilian breakfasts that tend to be so generous and interesting, i.e., fresh juices and fruits, breads, cakes and cheeses. Judging from photos on the Expedia website, Villa Alferes once had more robust offerings. Your choice will depend on how much the breakfast experience means to you. "
