"Kia Ora was absolutely fantastic in every way! The staff is the most friendly and kind staff you will find! This was our 2nd trip staying at Kia Ora and opted for the overwater bungalow this time at the recommendation of another reviewer. Definitely less bugs staying in the overwater bungalow! We missed having a hot tub this time, but it was a trade off as the views were better and as stated less bugs! The only thing that could make the property better in my opinion would be if the overwater...

"Staff was very helpful and friendly. Property was under renovation so there was a lot of construction noise. Free breakfast was nice, not a huge assortment but good. Our air conditioner was not working well but already had to move due to loud barking dog, so we made due. Once the sun set it was cooler. The view and snorkeling was great. Pool was very nice. They rent old rusty bikes if you want to ride around. There is a little convenience store right outside property that came in handy. Welcome was nice with shell lai and juice. Van ride from Airport was $15.00 each way. It was literally 3 min away from property. This is a budget friendly hotel. Overall we were happy with our stay and would consider renting one of the new bungalows when done. "
