Had 3 nights of stay at TDR over Easter holiday with my kids. The location is 5min walk from ABC jetty, with 3 restaurants surround the property, many choices and good taste. We went to scuba diving, snorkeling trips around Tioman and the packages can be easily bought through the reception. The manager is super helpful with all the booking, and took care of my junior divers with a special dive masters. Very happy to the arrangement. Will definitely come back again!

We really like about the house reef, kids can just grab the snorkel and explore. Beach is clean, environment is quiet and safe. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice large comfortable room
Very large room, well designed detailed and wiyh all comforts..very large showeroom too. Ac and fan, large tv screen, toiletries, safe etc all at very good standards expecially for this quieter part of the island.perfect if one is slso diving at same centre however not compulsory. It is at a short distance from ABC jetty.

Enjoyable stay and staff were great! Low season so not so many options for getting food but diving was good and v relaxing place.

One of the best in Tioman, small issues
Enjoyed our stay for one night at the resort. Unless you are diving, you don't need more than a day to see everything in Air Batang (ABC). The room was comfortable with nice clean beds and good air conditioning. The only issue but serious one was that the towels all had brown stains on them. I hoped that it was just a stain and not that it wasn't washed. Stopped using them immediately once discovered. Also, the don't have a good deal on the bottom of the doors in resorts in Tioman so there were small ants crawling along the door. The staff were great except I felt like the dive people were a bit full of themselves.

Very enjoyable stay at Tioman Dive Resort with B&J
We had a very nice stay at Tioman Dive Resort. The staff at both the resort as well as the dive shop (B&J) were great.

Dear guest, Thanks for your stay with us and we're glad that you had an enjoyable stay. Please rest assured that we don't have bed bugs as we treat our mattresses and comforters on a regular basis. We're pretty certain that your wife instead was bitten by sand flies whereas often they only start to itch at night / the following day. Nevertheless, we have immediately taken action and treated all rooms again for potential bed bugs. Once again thanks for your stay and the review and we're looking forward to having you soon with us again.

Excellent accomodation for divers and snorkellers
Excellent cleanliness. Clean bedsheets, pillows, toilet and shower. No insects and mosquitoes in room. Daily housekeeping. Room is just next to dive shop - very convenient for divers and those who need WiFi (no WiFi in room). Just 3 mins walk from jetty (left turn on arrival in jetty) and a prominent sign post showing you the way. Plenty of eatries and mini supermarket around. Must try the BBQ set dinner in ABC resturant (5 mins walk from TDR in the direction away from jetty). Place is well equipped. Water fountain to refill water. Kettle to make tea and coffee. Plenty of places to dry wet clothings. Fridge and safe inside room. Reliable electricity and water supply - which can be rare in the island. There are 5 channels - BBC news, 2 sports channels, HBO and Fox premium movies; nothing great but enough for relaxation after a day of diving.

Ideal dive base.
Specifically came to dive here with B+J. Very conveniently located for that. ABC village is very low key, only 2 restaurants for dinner, no nightlife of significance. No breakfast at the hotel, bring your own muesli and coffee filter. Comfortable and clean room with AC was what we wanted and got it. Fair prices.

Loved the room and the beds! The staff were really helpful and accommodating! Sometging I wasn't aware of (die to lack of research), the island is mainly for diving and snorkeling, not really for laying out on the beach.

It was pleasant to run away from a busy life
It was splendid. Although the sun was very aggressive when we went, but it was a lovely stay. The diving session conducted by the instructors was great. they were helpful and always concern of their fellow divers. The number of mosquitos bites are uncountable, but it was still worth it.

a Dive Trip with some rest turned out more like sleeping more than usual as the 'Culprit' was the good quality of the room,bed & amenities,kudos to Dive Tioman Resort Team especially the Housekeeping Team who were spot on.

More hotel than chalet
One of the more well-furnished accommodations on Tioman. Feels more like a hotel than a run-down chalet. Proper bath facilities and airconditioning. Situated together with B&J dive shop, so convenient for people who want to dive with them. Rules on no smoking in the room and no eating in the room - reasonable considering the kind of environment we would like to preserve in the establishment. No problem with these. Staff were probably busy running the dive shop, so not much emphasis on servicing hotel guests. No problem either since we didn't really need anything.

O.K. hotel on a disapointing spot
The hotel and the rooms are great. Clean, full equipted rooms and good value for money compared to others who are closeby. The location was a bit disappointing for us, not much clean sandy beach on this side of the island and not the atmosphere we were looking for. Some staff is'nt very helpfull or nice when it comes to service. Most instructors are primarely focust on theirselves for sofar we have noticed. We were thinking about diving here, but we did not do it because it just did not felt right and we decided to move on.

Get a beach hut instead
Booked on the basis of tv, wifi and in room safe. Tv and safe didn't work. Wifi was only in reception area and didn't work most of the time. Had we known that these advertised features would not be available / working we would have just stayed in a beach hut in a nicer setting for less than a third of the price. Couldn't really work out who the staff were to discuss any of these issues until our last day, by which time there seemed no point.

The room was fine, but currently a construction site - noisy and dirty. Staff were partly unfriendly, partly useless. Nowhere does it say you need to catch a water taxi from airport/ferry, then we get told "if you told us you were coming we could have sent a boat". Maybe if we were divers instead of snorkellers we would have been treated better.

Nice, Comfortable... But expensive..
Comfortable stay.. village side of Tioman.. Lot of clear beaches.. Food options available.. Can enjoy diving only if you know swimming... But its bit expensive as lot of cheaper options available at ABC which are even pleasing.. No Wi-Fi in rooms have to come down to office to access it.. I would recommend to book if no other options available at ABC as you can get nicer options at cheap rates...

Great dive holiday
Thanks team at Tioman dive resort and B&J Diving for a great holiday. Best room on Tioman, family of 4 very comfortable. Diving team was fantastic, great gear, good dive sights, safe and conscientious staff. would definitely be back. ABC beach services are pretty basic so do not expect too much, but very nice for a relaxing holiday away from it all!

Perfect for diving
We stayed there with a friend on a long diving weekend. The location is very convenient to dive at B&J on ABC Beach as it is just behind it. Staff was nice, and the room is very modern and clean.

Luxury resort in the heart of paradise island!
Beautiful high-class resort with fantastic facilities. The staff were friendly and the resort was adjacent to the dive centre which was very handy. The room was impeccably clean and attention to detail was excellent. Would recommend to anyone.

The room is well furnished with big flat screen TV, DVD player, comfy beds, closet, kettle, outdoor hanger for washed laundry. The room is clean and quite. There are a couple of restaruants nearby that serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are also convenient stores sell drinks, snacks and ice cream! It is operated by the dive center, very convenient for those going for scuba diving.

Best Rooms in North Island (ABC)
We stayed for 3 nights and love this hotel. First of all, air conditioning and hot showers were a must for me as Tioman is rather hot and humid. The island is very simple and beautiful and a wonderful place to relax. Tioman Dive Resort is basically a very nice new motel with outstanding well appointed clean rooms. I would recommend staying here even if you don't dive but if you do, it's even better. B & J dive is just steps away and they offer awesome guided trips with highly trained dive masters and great equipment. After time in the water, you can hang your stuff to dry on racks outside of each room. The folks at the hotel and dive center are the best and can help you with almost anything. This area of Tioman (ABC) is chill with nice restaurants and places to gather for drinks in the evening. I will definitely stay here on my next visit!

Excellent séjour
Hotel très bien placé. Cette partie de l'île est charmante. Les chambres sont très grandes et propres Le personnel est charmant. Il y a plein de restos autour pour les repas à très bons prix. Le bar de l'hôtel est très bien. Très bien placé pour faire du snorkelling. Attention la piscine ne sert que pour la plongée.

excellent club de plongée, instructeurs et dive masters très compétents et sympathiques. Très bonne ambiance au bar après les dernières plongées. Merci Siti et Pigal !! Les chambres du resort sont parfaites, et les petits restaus à proximité immédiate servent de la cuisine très correcte (avec service un peu long !!)
