Tinton Falls Holidays from NZ$3,109

This hotel is in the middle of the tiny area called Koreatown. It happens that my wife is has a strong interest in Korean food, culture, etc. We hadn't known this when we made the reservations, so that was just an added pleasure. The hotel is also located in the middle of touristy New York. Not ideal for me (an ex-New Yorker), but probably great for others.

Breakfast and staff are great!

Beautiful, vibrant hotel. Fun decor. Awesome staff. Very polite and helpful. At checkout we were able to keep our bags at the front desk while we explored the city. The rooms are very very small though (but also very nice). But small.

I love the location and the lobby. But the room needed attention. The bathroom toilet ran, the refrigerator was not working, there is no workspace nor coffee maker. I like a coffee before getting brushing teeth, and hot water for tea before bed, so the coffee maker was very inconvenient. And in this day and age, most of us travel with some work, and not having a work space made a negative impact on my stay. The staff were not helpful. Only a doorman was very nice to us.

Overall, solid property and location. Although we once again, received no upgrade or anything for being a “VIP” member, but I think that’s more on Expedia than the hotel. I’m not sure I’ve ever received the VIP perk. The hotel location is great and the staff were excellent… even giving our 2 year old a stuffed animal upon arrival. Subway is right across the street. Only issue is that the elevator and hallways were hot.
