Spacious Villa "Las Calderetas" with Mountain View, Wi-Fi, Terrace & Pool

The villa Las Calderetas is located in the town of Mancha Blanca, just a 25-minute drive from Puerto del Carmen, and boasts a wonderful mountain view. The spacious property consists of a living/dining room with a sofa bed for one person, a well-equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, 4 bedrooms (2 with 2 single beds each) as well as 2 bathrooms and can therefore accommodate 9 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi, fans, a washing machine and cable television. Offering children’s toys, books, a baby cot and a highchair, this house is also child-friendly. Furthermore, the beautiful villa boasts a private outdoor area with 2 furnished terraces (open and covered), a barbecue, a private pool and comfortable sun loungers where you can spend your day relaxing with a good book. The nearest restaurant as well as the closest supermarket are both a 7-minute walk away (500 m). Beautiful house, great location

Pros: We absolutely loved staying here. The host was lovely, very kind and helpful. The bedrooms are beautiful with comfy beds in each. Kitchen had everything you’d need. Showers are good. Spotlessly clean on arrival. Pool and outdoor area were great. The local area is quiet but really beautiful. Highly recommend La Lucha de Buda, great tapas and the owner is wonderful. Great pizzas in Mezzaluna. Rent a car if you can but the taxi service is good too - approx. €25-30 to Puerto del Carmen. Would definitely stay here again. Cons: The front room where the main tv is is quite dark and could do with a couch in front of the tv instead of the dining table. The local restaurants were closed most of the time meaning dining out options are limited.

No Contact was made by host until last minute and host only speaks spanish. Villa is lovely. Booked via vrbo but host was holidu website that added to the check in confusion

Good villa as a base

The property is centrally located in the island making it a good base to get to all areas in around 45 minutes maximum. A car is most definitely necessary. There is a local tapas bar next to the mini supermarket but the opening times are very erratic. As this is a Spanish village and not a tourist resort most of the nearest restaurants close at 5pm during the week only staying open later at weekends. There is a good grill restaurant in Tinguaton which is just within walking distance - other restaurants are in La Santa. The main living room of the villa is quite dark and some brighter bulbs would help - in fact several bulbs in other rooms of the villa were out and should be replaced. I have actually never been to a Villa before where there was no information about the island, locality or the villa available and this should be rectified. It would also have been useful to have had the ability to purchase a 'welcome' package. The front of the villa is where the pool is located and it is not the prettiest - overlooking an old caravan and with dogs nearby barking non stop during the day. The parking area is shared with the neighbouring villa and you either have to reverse in or out. Overall the villa is comfortable and a good base for exploring a lovely and interesting island.

Close to the volcano park

Lovely walks from the door. Close drive to Famara beach and the surf. Small village shop for essentials. Lovely outdoor BBQ area and small pool.

Descubriendo Lanzarote

Escojimos este alojamiento por la capacidad, tres parejas con niños. La casa está en una población muy tranquila, tiene de todo y las estancias estan bien repartidas en comparación a otros alojamientos similares. La zona exterior con Piscina y Barbacoa limitado para los niños es un Plus. El emplazamiento es perfecto, a 25 minutos de cualquier parte de la isla y a unos minutos de Tinajo. Su propietaria, Ainhoa, muy atenta y agradable.
