"My husband and I recently stayed at AM Lodge in Hoedspruit, South Africa, and it was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Cal and Origin were waiting for us at the airport when we landed, and after a short 20-minute drive to the lodge, we were welcomed with cold towels and refreshing drinks. We were given a tour of the beautiful property before being escorted to our room, which was absolutely phenomenal—luxurious, private, and perfectly designed to immerse you in the surrounding bush. Shortly after arriving, we enjoyed a game drive on the property where we saw rhinos, zebras, giraffes, and impalas. It was the perfect introduction to the African wilderness. Later that afternoon, we enjoyed spa treatments before having a wonderful dinner at the lodge. One of the things that makes AM Lodge so special is their ability to curate a completely personalized experience. The lodge arranged a full-day safari in Kruger National Park with Bush Baby Adventures, and our guide, Aurelia , was outstanding. With 25 years of experience, an incredible eye for wildlife, and a wealth of knowledge, he made the day unforgettable. We entered Kruger shortly after sunrise and almost immediately encountered a pride of lions. The entire day was magical, majestic, and truly a bucket-list experience. "Our safari experience was truly unforgettable! Nestled within Kruger National Park, the lodge offered comfortable and clean cabins. The friendly staff went above and beyond to ensure each day was exceptional. A special shout-out to our guide, Andrew, whose expertise led us to see four out of the Big Five, along with many other animals in their natural habitat. Every morning and evening safari was a highlight, enhanced by thoughtful touches like coffee and snacks during the morning trips and wine and snacks in the evenings. Dining at the lodge was a delight, with gourmet meals served while we watched wildlife gather at the waterhole. This was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend!"

"Simbavati Hilltop is top notch! From the 9 times per day (yes, that is NINE times) that you are fed, to the staff, game drives, views and rooms! Not only do you have your own plunge pool overlooking the river, but there is also a shared, larger pool. There is also a daybed at the room, outdoor shower, fully stocked complimentary mini bar and very comfortable bed! We saw hippo and elephant from our room. On game drives, lions feasting on a giraffe, hyena and wild dogs interacting, 2 leopards and more. We have now stayed at all of the Simbavati lodges in Timbavati and Klasarie and they are all excellent! Highly recommend!"
