Hostels in Timbavati Game Reserve

"Amazing staff, food was delicious and room was very cozy"

"We loved our 3 nights stay! The whole staff was very friendly and present when needed. We loved our drives with Sarah and Joseph, their knowledge, patience and enthusiasm made the drives extra special. They made great effort to see the animals we wanted to see on each drives. We saw the big 5 from really close, multiple times! We loved the terrace in our lodge facing the river, during breaks we would watch elephants, waterbuck and hippos cross the river. The food was diverse and very good....

"What a spectacular place!!! We cannot recommend it highly enough!"

"Beautiful place. Friendly well informed staff. The place to go if you want to be close to the bush. In my opinion better than places that cost twice the price. Thumbs up!"

"We stayed at Simbavati Camp George. The staff at the lodge were fantastic. The guide Alex was very knowledge and entertaining. He made efforts to teach us about wildlife and birds. The food was delicious and the menu was different every night. Simbavati lives up to their reputation. We will be back, They gave us a simbavati water bottle as a souvenir. "

"Exceptional service, design and game drives. One of the best hotels we have experienced! Highly recommended it is impossible to be disappointed."

"We had a true African bush experience with many wildlife sightings. It was humbling and relaxing and the staff couldn’t do enough for us. A wonderful team of people."

"Fantastic stay."

"The perfect choice for an incredible Safari experience!! Everyone in the staff is just amazing!"

"Everything was excellent we had a really good time and saw the big 5 in one day!!!"

"Everything was great! Our guide was very knowledgeable and conscientious of the needs and wants of his group. So exciting to have a herd of elephants come up and drink from the pool."

"We had a wonderful stay! The staff was kind and attentive and our guide and tracker on the game drives was amazing. We saw lots of wildlife and had a relaxing visit as everything was taken care of for us and zero planning was required upon arrival. Would definitely return in the future! "

"Staff amazing. Rooms perfect. Excellent food, location and friendliest and sweetest staff.bfood is also amazing. "

"Very nicely appointed rooms and a big walk in shower, separate from the tub. The main lobby was beautiful, restaurant is very nice. They also offer room service. There is also a nice spa on campus, but we did not have time to investigate. Breakfast was included, the hotel offers a lovely buffet. Also noticed after the fact, that I did not receive the 20% off a restaurant order offered through Expedia for Key members. I would stay here again."

"The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Nixon the lodge manager assisted us in taking our luggage to the room. All of the lodges are connected by a wooden walkway in the bush. The rooms were very nice and recently renovated. There is a great viewing deck where you can view the wild life. We saw 6 giraffes and several impalas the morning we were checking out which was exciting!! I would definitely recommend the Panzi Lodge to others! "

"The bungalows are lovely, staff is fabulous (friendly, helpful, and wanting your stay to be the best!), the safaris are incredible, and the food is amazing! I look forward to returning "
