"The property boasts a beautiful view and is part of a new construction, which made everything feel fresh and modern. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the space was generous—with a roomy kitchen, large bedrooms, a spacious family room, and a wide deck to enjoy the scenery. The internet was fast, and ceiling fans throughout the home added to the comfort, especially on warmer days. One of the standout features was how quiet the location was—great for relaxing or getting work done. The host was outstanding—they went above and beyond by personally walking me through the property to explain how everything worked, pointing out local attractions, dropping me off at the car rental agency, and being very responsive whenever I had questions or concerns. It’s rare to find such a committed and thoughtful host. On top of all this, the price was excellent compared to similar properties in the area. There are a few things to be aware of. The water has a moderate sulfur smell/taste, which is not uncommon in some areas but might take getting used to. The access road for the last quarter mile is quite rough—small cars may have difficulty with clearance, so I’d strongly recommend a rental car with higher ground clearance. Additionally, the nearest grocery stores and bars are not within walking distance, so having a vehicle is essential. "5 Stars – Absolute Paradise at Second Wind!We just returned from an unforgettable stay at Second Wind in Hope Town, and I can’t say enough good things about it. The house is even more beautiful in person—bright, breezy, spotless, and perfectly set up for relaxing island life. The views are incredible from every angle, especially from the front porch!The location is ideal—close enough to the settlement, restaurants & marinas and are just golf cart ride away. The beach is just steps away, and is perfect for boating, swimming, and just soaking it all in.The communication with the owner was absolutely impeccable—quick, helpful, and so friendly. Every question was answered promptly, and it really made the whole experience seamless from start to finish.The hosts have thought of everything—fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, reliable Wi-Fi (even in paradise!), and all the little touches that made us feel at home from the minute we walked in. "We had an amazing stay at Poker Face! Super clean, updated and beautifully decorated. The views from the covered deck were spectacular…overlooks Seaspray, the Ocean and the bay. The owners, Bill & Lisa were great to deal with, super friendly and easy to communicate with. The caretaker, Jack was also very easy to deal with, met us at the dock (we came on our boat), loaded all our stuff and helped us get settled in. He also owns the golf cart company and the golf cart was waiting for us at the house. Overall an amazing stay and we will definitely be back!"

"What an awesome place to stay on vacation with good friends! This VRBO is a convenient location to Hopetown as well as the other islands. We love the Abacos and the views from the spacious porch of the aquamarine water was a daily treat. We sat out there in the mornings with our coffee and in the evenings with whatever rum drink was offered. Oftentimes we would walk along the beach or just sit in the warm Bahamian water and visit some more. The owner/manager (Kevin) of this beautiful property was very friendly and welcoming and answered all of our questions promptly. We WILL be back for sure!!! Carol and Ken"
