Hotel is Eco-friendly so the amenities are limited. The staff is EXCELLENT and the lobby very welcoming. There is no air conditioning which is not necesario until hoy Summit days. We really enjoyen our stay

The property ground is nice and area is enclosed feel safe, staff are very nice and provide good service. But the condition of the property is so so, room is old badly need a update, no hot water and microwave in room, very small fridge and no room for anything, every time you want to have some hot drinking water you have to walk through the court yard to reception and wait for someone to boil some water for you, so inconvenient. Also in our room there are three beds, the larger bed is comfortable but the small ones is hard like rock, no mattress pad just a sheet, so in the morning your will find your whole body is in pain. Overall we feel for the price you paid ( around $200+) you should have better accommodations. The location is in town but petty far to tug in a dirt road, not easy to walk to town need a car to be around.

This is a lovely well kept property and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The grounds are beautiful and the pool lovely. The rooms are large and comfortable and very quiet. The main building itself is very nice and welcoming. There are only a couple of downsides to this place that keep it from getting a 10 and that is the internet which is weak. The breakfast is adequate but I still find it hard to believe that few of these places in Argentina offer eggs as every other meal seems to include them! The other thing that keeps it from 5 stars isthe location which is about a 10 minute walk from the main village. The road leading to it is a dirt road which at the time we went which is the end of the rainy season was quite rough as was the area surrounding the hotel. But what a surprise awaits you as you walk through the gates and on to the property! Tilcara is a lovely authentic village and despite it’s few shortcomings, I would stay here again.

The hotel looked like a great choice but unfortunately, our room was poorly maintained. No AC, no fan. The room felt like a stove in the afternoon. The shower was partially broken with the handles not working properly. Breakfast was OK, and the 3 cats hanging around is a real joy. Just fix the shower and add an AC for the hot days.

The most beautiful hotel. They use alot of local stone and wood to build the hotel. It is stuning to see how incorporated cocal wood and recycle wood in the building of the hotel. Even beter than the hotel is the staff. They went our of their way to work with our car rental company to help us extend our stay. We have to leave early for the airport. They even open the breafast early for us and pack a couple of food bag to go. This is very thoughtful and it shiw the genuine car for the guest. Beat hotel ever.

En general el hot esta muy bien Desayuno completo personal muy amable. Pileta climatizada todo el año. Resto para cenar con variedad de opciones y carta de vinos. La habitación le falta un poco de comodidad. Baños de epoca cin humedad y un solo espejo . La hanitacion tambien necesitaxun poco de cuidado

Incrível. Café da manhã organizado por horários para não tumultuar e manter o ótimo atendimento. Pátio acolhedor para conversar e descansar. Piscina bem tratada. Quarto espaçoso, banheiro grande também, cama confortável, se voltar para a cidade será minha opção de hospedagem.

Ottima scelta, albergo bellisssimo in un contesto unico, un pò fuori paese, ma raggiungibile a piedi in dieci minuti. Cura dei particolari. Letti matrimoniali grandissimi e ultracomodi,. qualità del sonno eccellente. Colazione buonissima e varia. Ottima anche la cena. Bella la piscina riscaldata, peccato non aver avuto il tempo per usarla.

Our best stay in Argentina

This hotel is luxury. It is laid out beautifully at the top of a hill above Tilcara village. The room is spacious and beautiful. And warm with underfloor heating. We speak no Spanish and they no English but we have got by no worries. The road it is at the top of has to be experienced to be believed. Very steep and narrow past many local residences. Well worth getting up here though. We booked for 1 night and stayed for 3.
