"These cabins are a bird watchers paradise. We saw over 40 species from the deck of our rustic little cabin. This location is out of the way. If you are driving yourself you will need 4 wheel drive as the driveway is steep and a bit rocky. Romey will work with you to get you a ride if you need one at a fair price. Just communicate ahead of time so he can arrange a driver!! We had the opportunity to ride horses to a beautiful private waterfall with “Eddy” This was an amazing experience,...

"We rented two cabins and they were perfect for our stay. The cabins were clean and comfortable and each had a lovely upper and lower deck where we enjoyed listening to the sounds of birds and insects during our stay. We found the location was further than La Fortuna than we expected, so we were glad to have a rental car, but the location was convenient for visiting hot springs and nearby nature reserves. Celia was very helpful in answering my questions. Would definitely stay here again."

"Beautiful immaculate property. Great helpful staff, so many hot springs and pools, with really fun monkey slide. Enjoyed onsite activities like tubing, rock climbing, horseback riding (through the river was wild). And love the free laundry we can use. Food is pretty good too. Highly recommend!"

"The Lost Iguana was a highlight of our trip to Costa Rica. The staff was helpful and the breakfast was delicious. My kids enjoyed the pools and exploring the nature trail. We also enjoyed the feeling of seclusion and the ability to see cool plants and animlas on the property. Highly recommend! The only challenge is getting there...we don't recommend making your first drive to Lost Iguana in the dark."

"We had an incredible stay at Arenal Manoa! We stayed in one of the Chato Suites and the view of Arenal volcano from our patio was absolutely incredible. The private pool was super warm and incredibly relaxing after a long day of exploring Fortuna. The springs on property were great for that as well. The staff was helpful and visited our room twice daily for a clean and a turn down service. We always had enough towels for our family of four and even some extra sweets and fruit left by the staff. Couldn’t recommend Arenal Manoa enough!"

The only things I'd improve is the breakfast offering and some additional lighting during the night as it can get a little dark. Would definitely recommend to anyone staying in La Fortuna"
