Bucky's PineIsle Retreat offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere, perfect for an escapade with your family, a solo trip, or even a romantic getaway. Inside, you'll find a convenient open floor plan with rustic touches throughout. The kitchen has all the appliances you could need to whip up delicious breakfasts, savory lunches and dinners, and even your favorite snacks! Start your mornings with a steamy cup of coffee in the lakefront deck and take in the views before deciding your next moves. Spend cozy afternoons at home watching your favorite series on the flatscreen Smart TV in the living room, or head out to the patio and sit in front of the firepit and let the storytelling begin! Your patio also features a convenient gas grill and picnic table, perfect for barbecues. If you'd like to enjoy the water from a different point of view, the private dock is the answer. It's a 48-feet dock and swimming is recommended. Back inside, this cottage offers two bedrooms on completely opposite sides, providing that much-needed privacy. Three Lakes

Perfect size and accomodations for small family group. Lake is right outside the door and neighborhood is quiet.

Great location

Beautiful little cottage on the water. Great fishing off the dock. Resort with full bar and great food just 3 doors down. Close to town if you need anything. Cottage could use some speucing up inside

Cozy cabin on a nice lake.

This cabin is small but comfortable. The beds are great for sleeping, and the smart flat screen TV is excellent. The kitchen is well furnished, and the gas grill works just fine. The bathroom is functional. I like the location, only steps from the lake. I would stay here again.

Warm & cozy fall Getaway!

Buckey's PineIsle Retreat was the perfect cozy, north woods cabin for a quick little weekend get-away for a mother/daughter & daughter in law escape. The location was lovely on Medicine Lake, with an amazing sunrise every morning, and a fall color walk down the country roads. We enjoyed Eagle River's Cranberry Festival and all the festivities in town. Also, loved our visit to the local coffee shop, with all it's charm, at Mug's Coffee House in Three Lakes. Came back to nestle in, do a puzzle, play games and enjoy a fire outdoors along side the shores of the quiet of the lake. The night star gazing was cool too. It was a relaxing weekend!

Great cottage in a great spot!

If you're looking for the rustic, cottage life, this is it! The cottage is on a GREAT piece of property a few steps from the waterfront. The dock is perfect to sit out on and relax. If you own a boat, there is ample space to tie it up at the dock. A little tricky backing your trailer in the driveway but it's not bad. Close to a great restaurant/bar on the water if you don't feel like cooking some nights. Friendly folks there. The cottage itself is just big enough for about 4 people comfortably. I've stayed there multiple times and will keep coming back.

Cute little place on the water

It was the perfect size for my husband and I. I think any more people would be crowded. The bedrooms are very small and the bed was not comfortable. We fished off the dock a caught a lot of fish. The neighbors are closer than we expected (with barking dogs) which was an inconvenience at times. It’s not the properties problem i understand that. The driveway is very tight and would not fit a trailer. Overall it’s a cute little cabin!

Cute Cabin, Great Location, Needs TLC

We loved the cute little cabin and it was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our morning and evening bonfires overlooking Medicine Lake were so enjoyable. The mattress and box springs should be replaced. The rust stains on the plumbing fixtures from the well water need to be removed. All the window treatments need to be replaced as they are dirty, torn and faded.No hairdryer, although one is listed as provided. VACASA, the property manager, never replied to me regarding several questions.

Very nice, however, needs attention to possible dangers!

Back yard had weeds 2 feet tall. Between deck and pier are many tree roots above ground. Steps down into the water from the pier were covered with algae. That was just like stepping on black ice. My right foot slipped and my left foot got caught in the steps and went behind me. Had to go to Ortho doctor when I got home. Left knee has a sprained MCL. My left knee and left hip are replacements, so this was actually very fortunate. It could have been much worse! The cottage was great. Lake view was great. Peaceful and quiet. Nice restaurant within walking distance. The total problem was that the main area of use, back yard and down to the lake, need to be fixed. There is a nice ramp from the front door to the parking area. I suggest putting one in from the deck to the pier, and of course, doing what needs to be done to get the algae off the steps from the pier into the water. That not being done is total negligence. Someone could really get hurt badly, like break a leg or ankle.

Good time on the lake.

We loved the fact that it’s on the lake with a dock. A public ramp is nearby for getting your boat in/out of the water. The amenities are all that we needed and the WiFi is a nice bonus if you have bad cellular reception. This was our second time using this property and we would return for another visit.

The proximity to a beautiful lake made the trip! Great fishing and boating! Nice fire area for evening relaxation. However the cabin was very dirty and uncomfortable. Will NOT be returning!
