Sullivan Farm is the best for a relaxing getaway in beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed hiking nearby and watching the snow fall from the cozy living room. As repeat visitors, we think this is the perfect spot for quality family time, and Robert is always a thoughtful and accessible host!
Our family had a wonderful stay in this farm house. It is very private and secluded. The views of the mountains surrounding this home are just breathtaking. Hottub was very nice and relaxing. Stars at night were incredible. Visited Benton’s sugar shack nearby. Breakfast was fantastic. We are already trying to find a date we can all come back soon! Loved this home.
Excellent location for fall activities in New Hampshire. The Farmhouse is exactly as described and a great place to stay, Rob was a great host, very responsive.
We had a great time for our annual ski trip with friends. The house was well stocked with items needed, the location is beautiful and tucked at the end of a quiet road. Not a far drive to Waterville or major stores.
We are repeated guests to Sullivan Farm and will be back again. We love the charm and quiet of the surroundings. This is a great location - our whole family loves it!
This place was exactly what we needed. Tucked away in nature - peaceful, quiet, and the kind of seclusion that actually lets you breathe. The farmhouse felt like a home away from home, almost like staying at a family vacation spot that’s been loved for generations. Super inviting, cozy, and our dogs were in heaven with all the space to roam. And the hot tub was the perfect way to end each night! We brought our instruments and played music in the barn - it was such an inspiring, creative space. Rob was incredibly responsive, which made the stay even more stress-free…but we really didn’t need anything because they pretty much thought of everything - there was everything provided that you need. If you’re looking to escape the chaos and reset in nature, this is the place.
We loved the house! We had adults, kids, teens, and dogs! Not too far from ice castles and just a great house to stay cozy and hang and eat and play games. The short walk to the waterfall was nice too and the waterfall in the winter was spectacular. Would love to come back in Summer/Fall.
We have stayed at Sullivan Farm many times and each time we leave we are thinking about when we can come back. The farmhouse was great for our family gathering, and the new updates to the living room make it even more inviting. The teenagers loved the loft space upstairs and playing darts in the barn. Robert is an excellent host and is always quick to answer any questions we have about the property.
We truly enjoyed our third trip to Sullivan Farm, a wonderful location with beautiful scenery. Our experience is better each year! The house is warm and welcoming and Robert is very helpful. ! We enjoyed a restful weekend with family and returned home ready for the busy holiday season!
We live in a restored 1830 colonial and fully appreciate the work, love and money that Rob put into restoring this 1800 farm. Don't expect a modern, perfect home. Enjoy an old but modernized antique. Very comfortable, very quiet on its 50+acres. The extensive grounds around the house were great for our dogs, and safe. The huge barn is an adventure in itself. Good but isolated location, near attractions. Plymouth is only 13 miles away for shopping if needed. Very enjoyable week.
Our family had an amazing time. The farmhouse was a perfect fit for our needs. The barn was so enchanting a great place to hang out. The grounds were beautiful! Pet friendly was perfect for our dog loving family! Plenty of hiking opportunities nearby. Robert was available and helpful. All around great experience.
Stayed with another family. Plenty of space for all 9 of us.
Great location. Road getting in is sketchy in the winter weather - 4WD/AWD was necessary but worth it for the privacy.
Great spot. Walk to the waterfalls, walk to the pond, walk to the mountain stream. House has everything you need… Pots, pans, dishes, linens, pillows. Peaceful and quiet. Short drive to the store, or several different restaurants.
Rob could not be a more informative and helpful host. I truly went above an beyond to assist me with information about the home and the surrounding area. the home is incredibly unique and you step back in time with the modern comforts. The property is expansive and serene. We would love to go back in the summer or fall to explore more. Make sure you take the walk down the road to see the waterfalls!!
We were looking for a place that provided privacy and was off the beat and path from the Ski resort area itself. The house was an old farm house which the owner is restoring. The main house has a lot of character. Our only complaint was the icy road but that has no reflection on the owner or the property. We had 4 wheel drive SUV's so a non issue. We would rent again as Robert was there to answer every question we had. Great expereice, M

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Firstly, we noticed that the hot water supply was limited during certain hours as it would turn off during our showers. Additionally, the heating system was electronically adjusted to a lower setting every night, leaving us reliant on space heaters for warmth. We also encountered issues with the hot tub, which appeared cloudy. This condition suggests potential imbalances in chemical treatment or a dirty filter. we noticed a loose floorboard on the deck near the hot tub. This stopped our use immediately. Moreover, the refrigerator was excessively stocked with food, preventing us from storing our groceries. And it was unsanitary. My concern was heightened by the potential for bacteria growth, such as E. coli, Salmonella, or Listeria. The freezer faced a similar situation, and we found the cupboards cluttered with expired products stored on cross-contaminated shelves.I also observed that some of the wooden floors lacked a protective coating, making it challenging to maintain cleanliness. The upstairs bedrooms were overwhelmed with flies, and the primary shower was not suitable for taller individuals, as no one in our group is under 5’9.”The dining room table was broken in the center and was prone to collapsing. Given the numerous reviews emphasizing cleanliness, I was surprised to find that this was not upheld during our stay.
This was our second year staying at Sullivan Farm for a week three generation family trip. From downhill to x country to hiking, there is something for everyone, and the location is absolutely beautiful. We also greatly enjoyed the hot tub!
