"The staff at Woodwards is always smiling and they work very hard! The restaurant also had great live music, super food & terrific service."

"They are making renovation so the outside pool and the yard waste messy. Alsothe indoor swimming pool walls and some other walls were not painted. The location was a huge plus just off the franconia notch State Park. The breakfast was ok. The room was clean and well.maintained. Good value for.money."

"Great little find right off the highway. New, clean hotel, comfy bed, good TV channel selection, free parking and breakfast. There is very good restaurant nearby and everything rather close by. They do have bonfire in the evening for guests, so that is very nice touch and social part. If you feel like staying indoor, game room has plenty of entertainment for the kids and adults (coming operated). One thing to consider: there is no elevator, so if you get second floor, make sure you can carry up your luggage."

"This historic hotel should compare to resorts such as the Greenbrier, the Homestead, the Broadmoor in customer service. My only complaint in that regard was the lack of staff upon initial arrival at the front door. I am used to never being allowed to touch my luggage until a porter has delivered it to my room. I'm used to not having to open my own car door when I arrive. I'm used to a doorman when I enter the lobby. None of that happened here and I think it should. That being said, I loved the hotel and I'm sure we'll stay again. I loved the history, including the haunted history. I loved cocktails on the sweeping veranda overlooking Mount Washington. Our room was small by today's standards but superb in every other way. The complimentary shuttle service to "off campus" resort properties and amenities was great. I believe this hotel will be on my calendar next summer!"
