The house is perfect for a large family. It is well-equipped and spacious, with kid-friendly surroundings and within a reasonable drive from the city. The whole house atmosphere feels very cozy for wintertime and for spending quality time together. Loved our days spent in this one.

Cozy and comfortable

It’s a beautiful and large house in a great location for skiing. Kids had lots of things to do indoors and the hosts were very friendly and welcoming. Everything was set up for a comfortable stay.

Perfect stay, highly recommended

Thank you, Gilles and Agathe, for the beautiful house. It was extremely clean and very well equipped, especially the kitchen, which had everything we needed. The location was great — only a 20-minute drive to the slopes in La Clusaz and just 4 minutes from the supermarket. The surrounding landscape was absolutely beautiful. There were also many activities to enjoy, such as the pool, darts, and board games. Everything was neat and very well maintained. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this place.

A Spacious Home Perfect for a Family Getaway

Great house with plenty of outdoor space. We were two families with nine children and felt right at home. Communication with Gilles was excellent. The surrounding area also offers a lot to do. We would come back immediately.

Cycling paradise, great time.

We (8 adults) loved the house and environment during our cycling holiday! The house was in a marvelous environment, very well furnished and everything was amply stocked. We had a great time, rested in the garden and used the BBQ and grill.

Tranquil countryside retreat

The holiday home is fantastic, lovingly furnished and excellently equipped. There is a pond, ducks, a dog, and a stream in the huge grounds. The house has a pool room, table football, and darts. Beautifully situated in the countryside and Gille was the perfect host.

We felt very much at home in Sylvie and Gilles' house. The old farmhouse has been beautifully restored and is very well equipped, even for small children. It has a wonderful location, far from Thones, surrounded by pure nature. However, a car is needed for shopping.

We had the most wonderful time at the house.

We had the most wonderful time at the house. It was perfect for us - we were a large group wanting to split our time between the lake and mountains. Gilles was very responsive and helpful. The house and garden were absolutely great. There was loads to keep everyone occupied - from the pool table, table football to the little stream next to the house. The kids loved playing outside and we enjoyed the breathtaking views of the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautiful house.

A Family Getaway Surrounded by Nature

We had a great stay at this chalet with stunning scenery and plenty of outdoor space. The kids loved the horses, chickens, and farm dog, which really made the experience special. The house was well-equipped, and the location near Thônes village made shopping and activities very convenient. We’d definitely recommend this property for families.

A Peaceful Retreat Perfect for Large Groups

The farm is located in a quiet, isolated place. The garden is huge, with a nice pétanque track and a lovely pond where we actually took morning swims now and then. The house is extremely well equipped, with plenty of space and lots of rooms where you can have fun, read, watch TV, and so on. I definitely recommend it for large groups (we were 6 adults and 4 children aged 10 to 17), and it was just great. Gilles, the host, and his dad were always very prompt in accommodating our requests. Overall, an amazing place, and we were truly sorry to leave.

This is a fantastic property in a beautiful setting which provides a brilliant base to explore Lake Annecy and the surrounding area. We were two families (5 and 4) and the farmhouse provides lots of comfortable living space and loads of outdoor space. The children particularly enjoyed the Pool and Football table and they also enjoyed swimming in the pond! Everything was finished to a high standard and we had everything we needed! We loved the horses and dog that were on the farm too! Excellent communication from the owner Giles. We had such a fabulous holiday and would highly recommend!

Exceptionnel, magnifique, paisible

C’était sans aucun doute l’un de nos plus beaux week-ends entre amis. Le logement est exceptionnel, l’environnement est magnifique, paisible et reposant. L’hôte nous a accueillis avec beaucoup d’énergie positive et de gentillesse. Nous reviendrons, c’est certain ! Le logement est encore plus incroyable en réalité que sur l’annonce. Merci pour ce beau séjour. À très vite ! (Gros bisous au chien du propriétaire, qui nous a accompagnés avec beaucoup d’affection tout au long de ce week-end.)

Séjour nature en famille

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à la Ferme de Cortet. Nous étions deux familles de 3 enfants. Les espaces sont vraiment très agréables et tout le monde y trouve sa place. Nous avons même sauté dans l’étang lorsque le temps nous l’a permis. Le gîte est parfaitement équipé. Les espaces extérieurs sont totalement adaptés (jeux enfants, bancs, chaises, terrain de pétanque…) Bref, nous avons totalement déconnectés dans la nature en bonne compagnie en profitant de produits du terroir.
