"The apartment is helpfully located near Tours city centre and is about a 25-minute walk from the station. It is very basic, but is clean, comfortable, and has everything you need for a stay: the excellent shower is definitely a highlight. The spiral staircase up the first floor is very steep and tight, so do bear that in mind. Finally, be warned that there are no fans (let alone air conditioning) in the apartment, so it is stiflingly hot in the heat. I appreciate this is not the host's fault,...

Relativement bien agencé -- sauf sdb donnant sur le séjour !Mais le gros point noir est le café "Le 25 avril" situé pile en face des fenêtres du séjour et de la chambre attenante. Café très bruyant avec tables sur le trottoir et clients parlant fort. Ouvert jusqu'à 2h du matin... Je ne comprends pas qu'on puisse même envisager de louer logements dans un tel environnement. "

"Comfortable big room, large bed, warm heating, kettle. Excellent hot and cold breakfast (including eggs and bacon, crepes, selection of local cheeses, yogurt, good coffee). Clean and well maintained. Right by the train station, very convenient location for taking day trips and late/early arrival or departure. We booked one night but stayed longer because it was reasonable, comfortable and convenient."

We enjoyed our stay overall but it could have been better with a few improvements. "Very friendly staff and a warm welcome for us and our bikes on arrival and we appreciated the option of having dinner on site as it was pouring rain. The dinner was excellent and tasty even though not cooked on the premises. We appreciated the use of the kettle downstairs in the lobby but would have like one in the room. We had a problem during our stay and the staff member Tom went above and beyond to help us - he was polite, understanding and everything you could wish for. Great shower and rooms."
