"Parking was a squeeze - We found a space but it was tight. In room 108 the step down into the bathroom was a surprise and a little awkward but we managed to stay upright! The staff, service and meals were all excellent. We hope to stay again when we're next in the area."

"Forget a bicycle made for two, Munnings is an Air b and B made for you. Situated in the historic village of Mendham with plenty of off road parking, the Lodge is a gem. Tracey and Paul were warm, welcoming and helpful hosts ( in spite of the fact they had not received my booking from VRBO!!) The area has plenty of historic towns and villages, ideal for sightseeing and walking. And by the way, the Lodge and is two minutes walk from a pub serving excellent food."

"Dukes head is a a grand building. The hotel is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Restaurant was friendly and food excellent quality and value. Self service style breakfast had everything you would need. A variety of big name shops within easy walking distance as was the harbour area."
"The room was big but not clean, the windows were very mouldy and bathroom doors very dirty. The breakfast was very poor in quality. It was the basic hotel breakfast, with the usual highly processes breads, cold dry bacon, and very dry / rubber looking eggs. I was honestly expecting a much better experience.
The reception staff were wonderful, but the pool staff were clearly junior and very uninterested in helping customers. It took me 3 trips to be able to get all I needed to access the pool comfortably, instead of just telling me all I needed to know when I first arrived. They essentially told me I had to walk barefoot on across a filthy carpet to walk from the changing rooms to the pool and back because "that is what people do". I mean.. they would have just handed me a pair of slippers which the hotel has available for customers. This was very disappointing.
The only high point is really the pool area. Water is very warm, I would say warmer than usual, and the area is very pleasant.
However, I doubt I will be going back there."
"Staff were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and I had no problems with parking. If I did have a criticism it would be that the bedroom carpet looked like it could do with a clean and the vinyl bathroom floor had black staines all over it, making it look a bit grotty (room 18). However, that said, I would certainly recommend The George and it would be my first choice next time i'm in Norwich."
"No AC and room was so hot, no lift and had a heavy suitcase and lots of stairs, room service menu limited, missing items that I had to ask for. Room furniture old and dated, bad smell when you opened your room door. Would not stay again."
