"Beautiful design, artfully decorated, clean, convenient to markets, restaurants, riverside, and the historic district. Perhaps the best aspect though was the owner/hostess, who was exceptionally attentive and helpful. Her positive energy made our stay particularly memorable. "

The pool area was really nice and the breakfast was amazing with lots of variety and different dishes offered every day. "What an amazing hotel! Such good value in this beautiful, boutique hotel. The setting by the river was exquisite. The room was stunning and so comfortable. Staff were delightful. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and stay again."

"About the only thing wrong with the place is a few mosquitoes looking for blood. They have bikes to borrow & cruise around town with. Tranquility tucked away in a back street. Staff are helpful & always look to be happy. I’d stay there again. "

"Overall, I very much enjoyed my stay here, and I was very impressed by the quality of this hostel. I'm glad that I found this place and I would certainly stay again if I ever had to. The bed was extremely comfortable, the curtains provided plenty of privacy, and the entire property is very clean and well-kempt. "This was an absolutely amazing find. Tucked away in a very quiet part of Chiang Mai, this very private and intimate hotel did everything possible to make sure we had a great time. The café that was attached to the hotel that provided room service was incredible, well priced, and provided many flavors to choose from. Bottled water was complementary. Staff was super kind and helpful with anything we needed. Their breakfast menu and what you got for ฿250 was enough to take you through the entire first part of the day without eating again. The pool area was beautiful, and the junior suite was very spacious! Very relaxing and 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend to anyone trying to disconnect while enjoying great amenities and luxury."

Again~! In Shangri-La Chiang Mai

"Dear friends The joy of my first trip to Chiang Mai is still there, but it's already been almost a month. I'm a team leader in a service industry. I was already looking forward to Shangri-La's strict service because I had experience using Cebu Shangri-La, but the Shangri-La I felt this time was the best. The kindness and consideration of Ms. Piano, the lobby, and the front staff, who were lounge duty, touched me as well and made me feel all comfortable in the hotel. Everyone in my team listens to my love and praise in Chiang Mai and everyone is preparing for the trip to Chiang Mai. Shangri-La was the best and the most meaningful place in Chiang Mai. Thank you again for my daughter's dainty birthday cake and all the moments that gave her joy. Even if I visit Chiang Mai again, I will definitely choose Shangri-La. Thank you."

From the moment we arrived to the moment we (reluctantly) checked out, we were treated with such genuine care, professionalism, and attention to detail. The service was absolutely top-tier across the board—from housekeeping, pool staff, and restaurant teams to the doormen and security. Every single interaction felt warm, seamless, and thoughtful.
