The service at this hotel was the best we have had in our time in India. Phillip and his team could not do more for you and we're very welcoming. Phillip even picked us up from the local bus stop nearby! Food was great and highly recommend

The setting for this property is beautiful, with lush spice gardens all around. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A very relaxing and calming place to spend a few days.

The property is clean & tidy! The treehouse where we stayed is a unique place having wonderful views over the tree area! The room is very nice with a decent bathroom & a balcony outside! Great option to stay in a treehouse! Philip the owner was proactive in obtaining our driver’s number to send him details of how to get there and was welcoming and helpful when we arrived. He also helped us to choose the best options for our one full day. Breakfast was great, would highly recommend!

We stayed here as a central point to explore this area of India . The owner and staff were super friendly providing genuine care . They were always available to assist our travel and itinerary needs. We had excellent food every night and a lovely breakfast each day . This is home from home experience and you are in safe hands here .

Wonderfull Experience with Tree House

We had the tree house. It was a wonderfull experience. The breakfast and Dinner was very good. The owner of the spice villa was very friendly and helped us with booking a taxi to the periyar national park. He also gived us a tour in his spice plantage. We can recommend this.

We had the most amazing 6 night stay at Spice Villa. The family were so welcoming and helpful. The location is more remote than we imagined but that added to the experience. We walked into town (Picady) one day and had the best time exploring, shopping and talking to locals. We had a cookery lesson at Spice Villa too! Then had that for lunch. The food at Spice Villa was out of this world, eating on the roof terrace and just listening to the birds - magical. Thank you Philip and the family for embracing us and making us feel so truly welcome.

Relaxed and peaceful stay

Philip (owner) arranged a taxi from fort cochin and on to Madurai which worked perfectly. Rooms were big and spacious with a lovely little balcony Breakfast was a mix of indian and continental.We mainly ate at the villa and the food was delicious.We even had a cooking lesson and then ate the food. Philip or Suresh will arrange anything you need. We had a tour of a spice plantation and Suresh took us and waited for us. Our 3 night stay was so peaceful and relaxing and perfect.
