"Surrounded by beautiful countryside, this gem of a house is all you will need for an idyllic getaway. The house is stunning, set within a majestic garden and perfectly detached from neighbours. Inside is superbly decorated, personalised with beautiful furnishings ensuring full comfort, has a kitchen which is fully endowed for every type of cuisine, bedrooms which have ample storage and beds that are luxurious. Outside adjacent to a covered veranda there is a well maintained pool with ample sun loungers, a huge gas BBQ and plenty of dining areas. The whole place was breathtaking and luxurious. Our hosts were amazing and kept in touch if we needed them and welcomed us with a small comfort package of various wines,water and milk. This is by far the best house in France we have ever stayed in. Salviac is picturesque and walkable. We also enjoyed kayaking at nearby Vitriac."

"Lovely building and comfortable but the facilities were not as advertised. No air conditioning in the master bedroom ( listed as having it) and the wifi does not work inside - it works outside which was disappointing, and then the advertised (paid) laundry facilities were not available so meant a trek to Gourdon 18km away to wash our clothes -not ideal with 3 teenagers! The house was spotlessly clean on arrival - and it was very comfortable - the BBQ was well used and worked well - the main terrace had a great view and it was very peaceful - even with the very occasional train - the pool was small but refreshing and a nice set up around it. Not the properties fault but disappointing that Degagnac did not have a baker so a trip to Salviac needed but the bistro in town was nice. So despite the 3 important things we booked it for being listed but not available - we made the most of the area but we did leave early. We chose the house because of the air conditioning - I have a health issue and am post cancer - and with the incredible heat of the first week it was uncomfortable heat wise - air con was really necessary and irritating to pay so much but not get what you pay for. Vrbo you need to be better at policing the listings and check what they say is true and accurate. Your customer service when we complained was truly poor and ineffective"

"Our second stay here & just as good as the last. Peaceful & just as described. An ideal 2 week break for us. The house is clean & has everything you need, the pool a must to cool off in the warm afternoons."

"The gite was very comfortable and had a well equipped kitchen with a gas BBQ. The salt water pool was fabulous and heated to 28 degrees so warm even when the weather wasn't very hot. Thedirac is a pretty village and has a boulangerie a short walk away. The small town of Catus is a short drive away and has an excellent butchers, wine shop and Spar. Would definitely stay here again."
