"Gorgeous and wonderfully kept home. Great location for visiting our college student. If you’re looking to go to bars, you could not ask for a better, easier place to crash after a fun night. If you’re looking to go to bed before midnight on typical college night out, just don’t book a room in the front of the house. You will hear every conversation of every group of intoxicated college students on their way home (at least they’re not driving). The house is restored and decorated beautifully. Nice bedding & clean bathrooms. Would definitely book again, as long as a room in the back of the house is available."

"The owners were great, the property was perfect for our family of 6 and checking in/out was incredibly easy. The kids loved the hot tub and putting green. It is close to downtown Potsdam, but quiet on the river and off the beaten path. We will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend to others."

"The hotel was run by a family who also lived on the premises. The lender who calls himself D was very pleasant at check in. He explained everything up front. The room itself was cozy and pleasant. Hotel was perfect for me as I was visiting my child at Clarkson which was 1/2 mile away. Close to downtown Potsdam where there were shops and restaurants to explore. Will stay again!"

The house itself is beautiful and well kept, and it was very well equipped—everything we needed for cooking and relaxing was already there.The layout is spacious, with two living areas. The real highlight, though, is the view. Looking out at the river from the house is fantastic; it’s the kind of setting that makes you want to sit on the deck with a coffee and just stay put.We would definitely stay here again"
