Book a The Lizard Cottage

"My parents and I thoroughly enjoyed staying at this pretty cottage on the grounds of the lovely estate. The cottage is well-equipped, nicely designed, and very comfortable. It is well located for the port towns and cliff tops of the Lizard Peninsula. I recommend a visit to the stunning Minack Theatre - an outdoor theatre built into the cliffs with views across the ocean, as well as the nearby town of Helston. Thank you, Charles!"

"We loved our stay here. Mark and Kat were responsive and thoughtful hosts (a lovely cream tea welcomed us on arrival). The house had plenty of space for our large group. We liked the private and green location. And we were welcomed everytime we got back to the house by three super friendly dogs who we well in love with! Couple of things to note - some of the mattresses are softer rather than firmer - and showers are mostly of the electric heater variety so not super powerful - if these are...

"A lovely lodge in a great location. The wine, biscuits and milk welcome pack is a very nice touch. It is very comfortable and well equipped, although the shower door was difficult to use. It is in a very quiet and peaceful setting but within an easy drive of either Penzance or St Ives for those shopping essentials or going to the beach."

"A gorgeous cottage in a beautiful area. We had a perfect, relaxing week"

"This was our third stay at Meadow House, such a fabulous location. Coastal path walks from the door, 10 minute walk to the Place Ferry to St Mawes and on to Falmouth. Great garden for the dogs and spacious living areas. I’m sure we will be there again soon."

"Fantastic location. Really clean, comfortable flat with a parking space. Breakfast outside every morning and stunning views!"

"Stayed in Pennant 5 day, myself and 3 kids. The flat is perfectly placed, easy to access pubs and the beaches plus you have a great view. The flat itself is well furnished and kitchen has everything you need, even stuff for baking with the kids!! It was also really clean and fresh when we arrived. Would definitely stay again if coming back to St Mawes."

"We normally stay in a caravan when we go to Cornwall and have done for over 25 years, we are so glad we looked at this cottage and will be booking with Melanie again. The cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you would need to make it like home.We woukd recommend this cottage to anyone."

"Just returned from a 7 night stay at Savoy view apartment The accommodation was excellent, everything needed for the stay was provided and the rooms were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. We arrived early after a 6 hour drive and expected we’d have to wait around a few hours until check in but we were surprised to notice that the key had been made available a lot earlier which was lovely. The property is in an ideal location for exploring the beaches and coves on the Lizard peninsula....

"Fal Cottages staff was excellent. This place had everything we needed, and we hope to be back next year."

"Stayed here on numerous occasions. Well situated. Modern kitchen. Comfortable lounge. Slight downside - shower in rear bedroom v tight for space."

"We had quick and easy access to property which was very clean and tidy. Everything worked and all needs were met. And felt just as comfortable as being at home. It was nice and peaceful for sleeping and the bed was one of the most comfortable iv laid on. All in all was very happy with accommodation and will definitely stay again."
