The quick review: book it. You can’t get better view and hospitality for this price. Rooms are comfortable, great views and area is overwhelming, but safe. The longer and ethical review: This hotel is one of the local small business that work together. The surrounds may make you uncomfortable at first, but don’t let it ruin your experience. The room I have stayed (and the ones peaked at as I walked to/from mine) are VERY comfortable, pretty and with hand make unique pieces. The views from the terraces are unbeatable, and beyond a little of language barriers, theses accommodations are where you can experience the true Egiptian hospitality. We should always remember that travelling is about, also, coming into someone else’s home and space. Contributing to these local small business seems, to me, an ethical way of travelling. And helping, even if it is a little, to the development of a very poor area. Just be open: you may book a hotel and be accommodated in one nearby in the same or higher category. Reception is extremely helpful arranging transportation. The contact phone number found in the booking is also a WhatsApp number, making communication very easy. It was a pleasure and a REAL experience, to stay with them twice in this trip to Egypt.

Everyone was so helpful and kind, nothing was to much trouble. Amazing view of the Pyramids every day while eating your breakfast. Very clean room with extra spacious comfortable bed. Thank you Walit your staff are fabulous.

We especially booked this hotel and the executive suite so we would have a view over the pyramids. We couldn’t complain! Beautiful view from the bath. Room is big and cozy. The staff is nice however I don’t recommend counting on eating at their restaurant. When we arrived I asked if we could pay for lunch, I ordered the food, only to be told 30 mins later that the chef hadn’t arrive. No lunch for us then! The staff could have simply told us when we first arrived that they wouldn’t be able to accommodate us for lunch. Breakfast is also very basic. The location is very close to the exit of the pyramids. It’s on a busy road but we didn’t hear a lot of noise at night. However during the day expect the chaos that is Cairo traffic! Overall, we enjoyed our short stay, especially for the view.
