The rooms are VERY small but clean and comfortable. Staff was super nice. Very walkable to many locations in Boston. Bar and restaurant looked good although we didn’t try the food the drinks were reasonably priced for Boston

Had some problems at first with the Wifi and A/C unit. Opening a window worked given the A/C wouldn't work this time of the year. Wifi issues were remedied.

Overall I would give my stay a 3.5 out of 5. The hotel is clean and overall cute. The staff was nice but when I asked for new sheets and towels they seemed to forgotten about my request. The room is a bit small but comfortable for 2 people max. The heater although on full temp and full power did nothing but push out cold air. Along with the charges for amenities I don’t believe that the charge for 20 bucks per night is reasonable since you don’t get much out of it. In the room you are given 2 water bottles for the entirety of your stay unless asked for more. Water along with the coffee and sugar and cream should be accessible for guests especially water. Overall the stay was fine.

I don't like the washroom, the flushing is so loud and the shower is not strong enough. The rest is wonderful.

THE GOOD.. Beautiful hotel. Decor, energetic. Delightful staff. Perfect location. Bar and restaurant okay. THE NOT SO GOOD.. Please be aware you'll pay a DAILY amenity fee - and I quote: for turning on the TV 👀, Keurig coffee in prefilled Kcups from yesteryear, prefilled creamer filled with preservatives from yesteryear, NO fridge, bottled water (and not the Acqua Finna from the lobby's fridge) Wi-Fi and bicycles. All of which I did not use. At the very least include it in the price with boutique quality amenities (fresh beans and a fridge to store creamers of all kinds)... Quality over Quantity. Not forced with subpar returns.

Very cold in winter - old leaky windows, and heating didn't work. Sound travels between rooms and hallway. It is an old building that was nicely renovated on the surface but still has issues of an old residential building. Good location.

Comfy bed and clean room
The hotel room was very clean. They pay nice attention to detail with the decor. Many reviews said the bathroom was small, and I agree. However my husband and I were only there for one night, and he's 6'2. We were both comfortable, and he felt comfortable showering since the shower was more spacious. Because of the size of the room it's great for a long weekend or a 2 day trip!

This was one of my favourite hotel rooms on my recent travels through the US! Really cute decor, very clean, large comfortable bed and cosy bedding. Coffee and coffee machine provided, and robes which is just a really nice touch! It was very quiet, even though there is a bar underneath the hotel - you cannot hear this in the room. Walking distance to everything Back Bay has to offer, and close to public transport. I highly recommend this hotel and will stay again when I next go to Boston.

Such a cute little boutique hotel in a fun part of town. Walkable (by our standards anyway) to almost anything you'd like to see in and around downtown Boston.

Just stay here!
Great location and the staff was amazing. The room itself was small but clean and had everything you would need including cozy robes and blankies. The bar was a lot of fun in the evening, as well.

This hotel was very clean, modern and convenient to walk to most things in the Boston area. Lots of great restaurants in the area and their restaurant was great too! Lovely staff and great little touches that make this hotel fun. And it was quiet. We were on the 6th floor but the street was quiet too. It is on the small side but very comfortable and clean. We just had a broken lotion dispenser but that was okay.

A three city East Coast vacation
The NYC stay at the Mint hotel was excellent. Room was surprisingly spacious and the location was so convenient for walking or catching the subway. The Staypineapple hotel in Boston was also great. In contrast the room was cozy and comfortable. Looking forward to the Tabard Inn next.

Charming Boutique Hotel

No warm fuzzy from the people at the hotel. It is dog friendly, and that is definitely apparent by the smell that hits you when you walk in. No thanks, will go elsewhere in the future.

This was truly a welcoming property staringvwith a complimentary beverage and two wat water bottles in the room. It was clean anf i loved the yellow robes and the cute stuffed dog on my bed. It is lard back, efficient, and comfortable. Love it!

Great charming hotel!
We booked 4 rooms, just for one evening after attending a family wedding the day before. The rooms were spotless, cozy, and the shower was roomy and great water pressure. Had brunch at the Trophy Room the following day. We all loved it and will definitely return. We’ve been so disappointed lately with the big chain hotels and unkept buildings. This felt a real swanky boutique hotel and we all loved everything about it!!

Very convenient location and cute details.

affordable hotel stay with elevated amenities
Really enjoyed our stay! Super comfortable beds, nice large tv and even though the room is small it’s very functional. Adorable but classy decor on theme. The room was super clean. The only not so great things were the particular room we had was right next to the entry door from the hallway, so anytime someone entered our floor there was the loud bang of the door. Also a lot of light came into the room through the door & the walls, baseboards and furniture were a bit scuffed up. But we were very comfortable and everything we needed was provided. Loved having free water bottles provided. Also because I was concerned before staying here, I want to mention the bathroom. It is small especially the sink but again very functional and the shower has plenty of room. I was expecting a much smaller shower so I was happy about that. I would describe this as an affordable hotel stay with elevated comfort and design. Would be interested in staying at other staypineapple locations.

Excellent boutique stye hotel. Located in upscale South End close to the the Edgar Allen Poe residence. Location was superb. Steps to Copley Sq. And the best of Back Bay shopping and great restaurants. Can’t bet the price. Only issue is your on your own for parking.
