Secluded Cabin w/ Private Pond/ Peaceful Getaway
Escape to a Private Cabin Retreat in the Heart of New York’s Southern Tier Welcome to our family cabin, a peaceful getaway nestled on 60 private acres along a quiet seasonal road. Surrounded by nature and wildlife, this secluded retreat is the perfect place to relax, unplug, and enjoy the beauty of the countryside. It’s common to see deer, turkeys, and other wildlife right from the property.
The cabin sits beside your own private pond where guests can fish, swim, or enjoy the large waterslide for some summer fun. Spend your days relaxing in the hammock, enjoying the outdoor patio, or simply taking in the quiet surroundings with very little traffic on the road.
Our location puts you close to many of the Southern Tier’s best attractions. The world-famous Corning Museum of Glass is just 20 minutes away, while beautiful Keuka Lake is about a 30-minute drive. You can also explore the stunning scenery of Watkins Glen State Park, located about 45 minutes from the cabin. The region is also known for its wineries, outdoor recreation, and charming small towns.
In the evenings, gather around the campfire and enjoy the peaceful night sky. Some firewood is provided, but for longer stays we ask guests to bring additional wood if possible. Inside the cabin, relax with a movie on the 70-inch TV with surround sound, or enjoy family time with board games, cornhole, foosball, and other activities available for both kids and adults. Kayaks are also available for use on the pond.
The fully equipped kitchen includes cookware, utensils, spices, and everything needed to prepare meals or barbecue on the patio (propane is provided). Linens, blankets, towels, laundry soap, and basic household supplies are all included for your stay.
Well-behaved pets are welcome—we know they are part of the family too.
For guests planning a larger gathering, the property also features a unique tiki bar area that can be used for reunions, small weddings, or celebrations. There is plenty of parking available, and special arrangements can be made for larger groups.
Please note that the cabin is located off the beaten path, and cell service may be limited depending on your carrier (Verizon tends to work best). There is basic TV available but no streaming services. Many guests find this to be part of the charm—a chance to unplug, relax, and truly enjoy nature.
We hope you’ll come experience the peaceful setting and make lasting memories at our family cabin.

Hot tub, fire pits, downstairs is all open to the gorgeous surroundings, beautiful natural staircase. They are working to get it ready for their busy season. We came a little too early in the year to appreciate everything available.
We had an amazing few days here. Beautiful property, had fun watching all of the deer and wild turkeys. Caught some fish, and our English Springer Spaniels were in heaven! We will for sure come back! Thank you to the owner! It is a perfect place to decompress and unplug!
Very relaxing and peaceful….great getaway when you want to escape the hustle and bustle. The property is very well maintained and has plenty of activities to keep you occupied.
We stayed here for the Winglass marathon weekend. Great location for the full start, and to relax before and after the race. Thank you so much! The kids definitely want to go back.
Property is as Advertised! Peaceful and secluded. Great outdoor space. Fishing was excellent. Lots of deer around every evening. It was great for just the two of us, but could hold a small group nicely. Thank you.
The property is beautiful. We really enjoyed the game/sitting area under the cabin. The zip line, the slide and the hot tub were great. Our only issues were that we needed to fill the hot tub as the water level was quite low and there was no smoke detector that we could see.
Beautiful, remote, relaxing and plenty to do. Kayak, swim, float, play, zip line, soak in tub, enjoy a campfire. Ideal for glamping. Totally escape from reality and recharge.

Very relaxing getaway, loved all the amenities on the property. Looking for a secluded relaxing time? This is it. Enjoyed the kayaks and hot tub. Saw Bald Eagle, Great Blue Heron, Wild Turkeys, Deer, Fish in the Pond! The local grocery store is close enough and so friendly and the take out food was pretty good out of the same place! Thank you for an excellent place to get away, we will definitely be back!!!
Mary was such a sweet host. We had a late arrival and she had the wood stove started for us and some lights on so we didn’t arrive in the dark. She was great with communication. We had a wonderful, peaceful stay and it was just what we were looking for. We can’t wait to bring our kids back in the summer to enjoy the amazing amenities.
Very quiet little getaway. We were greeted with music playing in little outdoor tiki hut. Everything you need is here just bring food and drinks. Bedding was all nice and fresh and smelled wonderful. A little bit more time could have been taken to clean overall area before arrival.
We really had an amazing time at this property! Rented for a long weekend with friends before our wedding day and everyone had the best time. The thing we kept saying was, we will have to do this again next year but for longer! Only hiccup we ran into was Google maps got us turned around a bit, but we should have downloaded the maps ahead of time. Service getting to the spot was limited but we actually had decent service once we were there. 10-10 recommend!
I wish we had been able to stay longer. The place was quiet and beautiful, in a remote setting. The pond was large and fun to swim in. The girls loved the slide and the kayaks.
We used the patio until late and got to see a small herd of deer wander near.
My only complaint could be that the small bedroom didn't have a window ac, and the girls decided to sleep in the living room because it was hot, but honestly it's small. It is a cabin, so can't expect luxury, lol.
My son and husband got there a few minutes before the rest of us and when I pulled up my son greeted me in the driveway " this place is so dope".
Needless to say we had an amazing time, from ziplining to kayak races in the pond, fishing (didn't know there were that many different fish in the pond). My husband even caught a snapping turtle. We all had an amazing time right down to the dog! And as a mom having a washer and dryer put the cherry on top! This was our first vacation that they were begging to stay longer, and this is from city kids. Cannot say enough about how great this property is. We would definitely stay again!
A wonderful and unique place seemingly in the middle of nowhere. The living area (kitchen, living room, bedrooms) are on the second floor, below a garage like space set up as recreation room exposed to the outdoors where a tiki bar and more recreation, including a pond and zip-line.
The host is not far away, though unless it was the one car we saw on the road in three days, we didn't see them.
We wanted to comfortably get away from it all and did, surrounded by far fields, trees, a pond next to the house, with fresh air under big skies.

Great location and awesome place to bring dogs
Mary has a great set up. We loved being able to bring our dogs and let them run around and explore the property. It was the perfect weekend space to relax and unwind. My own complaint is the booking is listed as a “private and peaceful stay” however while we were there about 6 side-by-sides drove up the private driveway and hung out for 30-40 minutes at the top of the hill. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if we would’ve had a heads up. We had dogs running around and a baby trying to sleep. In addition to the side by sides we have two other trucks on multiple occasions again go up the private driveway.
The trip started out bumpy with a storm knocking out the power before we got there, but our host helped us brainstorm some ideas on how to make it through till power returned. After that everything went very smoothly. The location is beautiful! On the busiest day 5 cars passed the house! The sound of the fountain in the pond is the only thing you can hear. The house was well kept and stocked. Some of the furniture is a little tired but it looks like they are replacing things as they go. The wood steps inside are beautiful to look at, but I would not recommend them for anyone who is unsteady in their walking.
All in all this is a great place and we are keeping this one in mind for when we just need to press pause.
The property was just as depicted....lots of space for the dog, a hot tub, great kitchen facilities, a nice fireplace for the chilly evenings. Lots of wildlife to see and photograph....we HIGHLY recommend this property
Everything was excellent! Will definitely book again! Everything you need is in the kitchen. And the furniture and bed are super comfy-cozy! Clean and comfortable peaceful retreat. Loved watching the wild life.
