"This hotel was perfectly located, very clean, staff friendly and helpful, and breakfast was basic but it hit the spot. The only complaint would be I didnt love the coffee."

"The room had a bug problem. A beetle type bug in the bathroom. Also ants on the bed and bedside table. I wanted ice so I went to 2 ice machines on the my floor. Neither had ice. The vending machine was out of water. It's a bummer they no longer have a gift shop - instead they have a sundry area with a very small selection of snacks. On the plus side, that is available 24/7."

"The smoke detector started beeping in the middle of the night which was annoying, so they probably need to change batteries more often. Otherwise it was a very good stay, I’d recommend the hotel."

"Breakfast was great! I only had yogurt but eggs and sausage were hard to resist as they looked wonderful and smelled delicious. Also, the minute I walked in to check in the receptionist recognized a weary traveler…and gave me a bottle of water…she was very welcoming and pleasant and truly helpful!!"

"The front desk staff was outstanding. I would have to point out Lionell ( sorry if spelled incorrectly) especially for his understanding and aim to please. Our accommodations were excellent. The pool was clean and there were plenty of towels. Courtesy all around at this place. I would not hesitate to recommend it to travelers headed for State College."
