Westerhäuser Vacation Rentals – Apartment Schmuckstück – Family Apartment in the Harz Mountains

The Westerhäuser Holiday Rentals feature two apartments. The “Schmuckstück” apartment (for up to 6 people) and the “Bergzauber” apartment (for up to 3 people).
Our “Schmuckstück” apartment is located on the ground floor of the house and features the following rooms and amenities:
- 2 bedrooms with double box-spring beds, nightstands, and wardrobes - Bedding is provided free of charge
- 1 living room with a sleeper sofa, TV, massage chair, and cosy dining area
- 1 fully equipped kitchen with a stove, glass-ceramic cooktop, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator with freezer
- 1 bathroom with a walk-in shower and bathtub, toilet, and double sink—toiletries and towels are provided free of charge
- 1 spacious hallway with a coat rack and a small bar area, as well as direct access to the courtyard
On the ground floor, there is also a small sitting area with informational brochures about the surrounding area, as well as access to our shared utility room with a dryer, washing machines, a cordless vacuum cleaner, and much more.
In the courtyard, you’ll find a place to park your bicycles, as well as a cosy seating and barbecue area.

In Westerhausen and the immediate vicinity, you’ll find a bakery, a supermarket, a farm shop with a butcher’s counter, another butcher shop, as well as a hair salon and a beauty salon. With two bus stops, you also have reliable transport connections to the surrounding towns of Thale, Blankenburg, Quedlinburg, Halberstadt, and Wernigerode. Furthermore, our village offers a great zoo, an outdoor swimming pool, a motocross track, and is an ideal starting point for hiking (Harz Hiking Badge), biking (Thale Mountain Bike Park), and rock climbing (Königsstein/Teufelsmauer).
