But what was also remarkable was that the staff was not only friendly, but also went above and beyond to help us figure out transportation during a train strike. "This property exceeded all of our expectations. We arrived early and were allowed to check in without any fuss and were shown to a wonderful room (No 1) with a stunning view of the river. We had lunch in the restaurant and while I went to watch the Tour de France, my wife relaxed in the room and walked the dog by the river. The pool was a welcome relief after a hot day and dinner on the terrace was superb.
We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, it was just perfect. It was a shame we only...
