"A little of an older hotel but the rooms were nice and clean. Stayed in balcony looking at the waves most of time. Staff was nice and courteous "

"Great location for visiting Galveston. On Seawall BLVD almost across the street from the Pleasure Pier. Walkable to many restaurants and bars along the seawall. Just a 5 minute drive to the Strand and downtown. Our room was spacious and comfortable. Facility is a little dated. Staff had a hard time keeping breakfast stocked on weekend mornings. Policy is to only clean rooms every three days unless specifically requested. We had to remind them to clean on the third day. Overall a good experience and we would go back again."

"The hotel was absolutely beautiful. Our room was well appointed and the bathroom was almost spa-like. It was a great location to walk across the street straight to the beach and then down the road to plenty of shopping and dining options. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to anyone visiting Galveston. "

"Good place to stay - Stayed one night before heading out to cruise. Simple accommodations, older hotel, easy access, quiet, clean and comfortable. I like that breakfast was included but it was basic at best!"
