About this property
Fisherman's Paradise in the Gorgeous Teton Valley
Beautiful hand-constructed log cabin nestled in the Big Hole Mountain Range in Teton Valley, Idaho. Come and enjoy the beautiful Teton Valley in this 4 bedroom custom built log cabin. This cabin was meticulously crafted using large hand-hewn logs and custom framework and staircases with amazing attention to detail.
The cabin front features unobstructed views of the Teton Mountains and valley. Situated on a large lot at the end of a dead-end road, the surrounding forest provides seclusion and privacy. You will want to spend a lot of time on the huge wrap-around deck that takes advantage of the amazing views. At night, with no street lights or light pollution you will be astounded by the number of stars and the prominence of the Milky Way. There are plenty of chairs to go around and a gas grill to cook your fresh trout.
Plenty of wildlife abounds in the area – keep an eye out for deer, elk, moose, coyote, badger, bald eagles, swans, geese, Kingfisher, Sandhill cranes, and numerous other birds. If you use the canoes to float the Teton River, watch for otter, beaver and moose.
The cabin has a total of 4 bedrooms and has beds for ~10. The lower (ground) level features a huge bedroom with a queen-size bed and a large window looking out over the Teton Mountain range. The second bedroom has log bunk beds. There is a bathroom with heated tile floors and granite counter top, and a laundry room on this level.
The main level features a bedroom with a queen sized bed, hardwood floor, and windows facing the forest. Keep the windows open at night and wake to the sounds of the numerous birds living here. The kitchen and living room both have views of the Tetons in front and the forest on either side. The kitchen/dining area has granite counter tops, hardwood floor, and a table that seats 8 or more. There is a bathroom with heated tile floors, granite countertops, and custom tile shower. The living room, which is open to the kitchen/dining area, has hardwood floor, 2 couches and a loveseat. It also has a woodstove to keep the cabin nice and warm during the cold winter months. Feel free to scatter sunflower seed and peanuts from the provided tins onto the long, log feeder just outside the living room window. Many different kinds of birds, as well as pine squirrels and chipmunks, enjoy feeding here. At night, watch closely on the feeder and you may see a flying squirrel or two feasting on the peanuts.
The loft features 1 queen bed, 1 full bed, and a small sofa bed. There is a large window facing the Tetons and another facing the national forest in the back.
There is a large circular driveway to accommodate a large number of cars and recreational vehicles.
The Teton River is just a few miles away and there are two nice canoes, paddles, and new life-jackets available for your use. The trout fishing here can be spectacular and there is a convenient and reasonable shuttle service if needed.
For a relaxing evening in, there are plenty of videos, books and games available for your use.
The town of Driggs is approximately 12 miles away and features a variety of excellent restaurants as well as a nice grocery store. There are many hiking trails in the Teton Valley. I recommend Table Mountain (a 12-mile round-trip hike) or Devil’s Stairs (an 8-mile round-trip hike) or just heading into the woods to find Packsaddle Lake.
Jackson Hole, Wyoming is just 47 miles over the Teton Pass and has numerous summer and winter activities. For other day trips, there is Yellowstone National Park (126 miles) and Grand Teton National Park (67 miles). Grand Targhee Ski Resort is a 30 or 40 minute drive and features amazing snow conditions, great terrain and low crowds and hosts several music festivals each summer.
For the golfers in your group, there are several very nice golf courses in the valley. I recommend Teton Reserve, Teton Lakes, and Huntsman Springs.
All of the pictures are very recent and taken only at the cabin.

The property was clean and as described. Great deck and common space on main level. Was cool to learn the history of the cabin in a book and made it that much more special. Will definitely stay again when in the area.
From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views of the Tetons from this property. Every morning and evening, we were treated to incredible vistas. The house itself was impeccably clean, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. We had everything we needed and more – the amenities were fantastic. What truly made our stay special was the responsiveness and helpfulness of the hosts. They were always quick to answer a few questions and provided great local recommendations. It truly felt like a home away from home, and we highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a memorable Teton getaway.
What a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Everything for our trip was perfect with great communication and support from the host. We would definitely stay again.
Fantastic place. We weren’t on our annual guys fishing trip and this was a perfect and amazing place to stay while in town. Fantastic.

Awesome family vacation site near Tetons!
Comfortably accommodated our group of 8 adults, 2 teens and a preschooler for a July vacation. Lovely setting in Teton valley with the feel of seclusion in spite of being near other homes.Owners were exceptional and responsive when needed. Would certainly recommend. Somewhat remote, it is only about 20 minutes from services at Driggs, and the seclusion and view of the Tetons made the short drive worth it. Hope to return sometime for a winter vacation!

Exceeded our expectations!
The cabin was even better than the photos. Our family spent a week at the cabin and it was incredible. Everything was just as described. The cabin was clean and well organized. The deck and views are spectacular. Chipmunks, squirrels and hummingbirds abound. The owner is incredibly responsive and detailed. There is a warm spirit about the place that comes from the handcrafted care put into its construction. But you can only discover that history when you stay there!

Great rustic cabin with Amazing views!
This is a great family cabin, with a tremendous history - they have a photo album that documents everything and an amazing read. It was hand built by the family over 30 years ago with what has to be one of the most amazing views of the Tetons.
We had two families stay there and it can get a little tight on the main floor, but the newer downstairs floor is great. The only downside is that it can be a little buggy in the summer, as the cabin backs up to the National Forest and it is on the west side of the valley, so getting to town (Driggs) is about 25 minutes. However, it is very close to the river, which is great if you like to float or fish!
