"This was a nice personal chateau. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Bedroom was large and the bathroom was up to date. Minor negative's, no in room TV, but there is a very pleasant communal room on the ground floor. The top floor takes 55 steps to reach it, my fault for not doing full research. View is excellent, gardens are delightful, about 5 miles from Avaranches (great restaurants, pleasant town).Main dining room and lounge were excellently furnished, and in first class condition. We would recommend this establishment."

"The room was clean and adequate for a short stay. There was no fan or way to cool the room. The bed was firm. The breakfast is an additional 15euros and is at best worth 10 euros. It was not stocked well either. The staff was polite. The water machine poured warm water. There was No ice. I KNOW that is not common in Europe but be the "extra"ordinary....not the standard. The location was convenient. We would not stay again if we had other options."
