Tenterfield well priced Gem
Very nice and clean, looks recently refurbished, old hotel. A shared self serve kitchen facility for snacks, hot drinks and breakfast was a pleasant surprise when only expecting a bed. Comfortable bed. A restaurant over the road. Pub downstairs with wood fires.

Clean and comfy,
The Motel rooms out back have been renovated. Clean & comfy. Had air con for the cold night and some free nibbles & coffee. There was no chef for dinner which was a surprise but there are plenty of other good places in town within a short walking distance.

Cheap and cheerful
Really enjoyed my stay. Very simple accommodation, cheap and clean. I had the whole pub to myself which was awesome. The starter breakfast was unexpectedll included. Yoghurt, fruit, cereals, muffins (and chocolate treats).

We got what we paid for, so really can't complain. Stayed in one of the Hotel rooms (not the Motel) - clean room but no bathroom (shared bathroom) and no room/bathroom heating which in winter is a little chilly.

Old building with lots of character
You get what you pay for here . Although the low price the bed was very comfortable and the sheets where clean. Breakfast was included (cereal, fruit and yogurt). We stayed here for the bald rock walk and a few others, so we didn't want to spend a lot on a room that we would only sleep in. This place was perfect, next time I want to drink a few beers in the pub as I didn't get the chance to on this trip. Sleeping above a pub is pretty cool. Good location to walk the town. Easy going staff. Old pub hotel with loads of character . Wouldn't recommend this place for snobs or boring people.

Country town experience to remember
Once again we stayed at the Tenterfield Royal Hotel / Motel. Great to be able to stay in a comfortable bed in a clean room and have the benefit of being able to enjoy the convenience of the pub downstairs for a beer in the afternoon.

Nice hotel
We stayed in one of the rooms out the back of the hotel and the rooms were great value for money. Very clean modern and comfortable.
