Unfortunately I have stayed at many 5 star hotels. This was sure not a 5 star. The hotel was entirely revenue focused. So much so I wanted to change hotel. But I couldn’t because the manager was not available to give decision over the weekend. Though I was informed that it would not be a problem cutting it short by a day. Despite being a VIP member nothing was offered. On contrary I was repeatedly asked if I wanted to upgrade for another large amount

Superb! I got the restful, recuperative holiday I so desperately needed. The “adults only” policy ensured peace and quiet and it’s one of the major reasons I chose this hotel. Stunning interior design, pool, gardens and Spa. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful 5 star resort
The resort is simply amazing - the food, the staff, the service, the landscape - all work together to make the place special. The whole atmosphere was so tranquil and relaxing. This was a special stay. The Prestige rooms are also wonderful.

I've been several times to this hotel. It is quiet, the breakfast is excellent, the pool is outstanding and staff are very helpful. The bathrooms may need updating but, overall, I'd stay there again and again.

Amazing hotel, clean, beautiful outside and inside building, outstanding service, breakfast delicious to die for, hundred options for all tastes, no screaming kids around. High class restaurants. The only thing if you are planning to rent a car, their parking is very limited but free. Not too close to Las Americas downtown if you are interested in nightlife. But you can take taxi. It is 6-7 km. I would definitely return again.

I have never been treated so well by a hotel and their staff. The people were so genuinely kind. Every detail was taken care of. The view was absolutely amazing, food was delicious, the drinks were flowing if wanted. I want to come back to the island just to experience the hotel again, let alone one of the most beautiful islands I have seen.

Perfect hotel
I could not recommend this hotel more highly. If you want a relaxing, top-rate stay in Costa Adeje, don't hesitate to book at Grand El Mirador. From the moment you pull into the hotel, you will be amazed at this resort. We were greeted with incredible hospitality - from the bag boy to the housekeepers to the front desk. The rooms are incredible, the amenities will make you want to stay only at the hotel all day, but nearby there are restaurants, shops, and the beach a convenient walk away. This was a special trip and the staff made us feel so welcomed, and this was by far the greatest hotel experience I've had so far. The area is secluded from the crowded hustle and bustle of some of the other areas of Tenerife Sur. I have nothing negative to say about this hotel. We loved every second there and wish we could have stayed longer.

Fantastic place to stay for a restful holiday!
Absolutely fantastic hotel and exceptional service. Myself and my husband stayed for 10 nights in June 2023. Whilst the hotel itself is beautiful and clean the thing that sets it apart is the service provided. Nothing was too much trouble - if you ever asked for something to be arranged, a room clean as you missed the usual slot due to being in the room, room service drinks or food, a taxi being booked or a tour of the hotel when you arrived - it was all done in a blink of an eye. The additional touches such as free cocktails by the pool or ice creams made you feel special. Its a lovely adults only hotel with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. I also used the spa and had a lovely facial. Will definitely return.

Great hotel in a great location. Hotel was a beautiful property with excellent staff. Rooms were nice and kept clean. Pool area was nice and staff attentive. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Lots of other restaurants right around the hotel. El Duque beach is a very short walk from hotel. You can walk the promenade along the beach in either direction from the hotel. I would stay here again! All positive!

Just back from a two week stay at El Mirador and would highly recommend. A huge thank you to Tiziana and her team for their excellent customer service. It’s the people who really make a hotel and Tiziana and the team really went out of their way to make our stay memorable. El Mirador is a great property with an extensive and comfortable pool area, well furnished rooms and excellent food options. One of the best breakfast buffets at a hotel I’ve stayed at and a special mention for the El Cenador restaurant and its superb tasting menu. Recommend as an excellent hotel if you are looking for a five star experience in Tenerife.

This hotel is stunning and the staff could not have been any nicer or more helpful. Everyone we encountered was delightful and willing to go the extra effort to make our experience the best possible. The food was delicious, the restaurants amazing, the spa services were relaxing, the pool staff were attentive, etc. I cannot recommend this property enough. We wish we could have stayed longer!!

Stunning hotel. Very quiet, much older clientele. Despite being full, always got a sun bed (with a cushion put on for you), great breakfast. Only issue we had was getting served in the bar at night. Didn’t matter if busy or full, we struggled most nights to get served.

Beautiful hotel, well kept, clean and peaceful. Pool area is well maintained and there are cocktails twice a day!. The staff are fabulous ( particularly the assistant manager - name begins with P (sorry I can’t recall) - she is absolutely fantastic, hard working and has time , and a smile for everyone. Breakfast is delicious - something for everyone. All very fresh including made to order egg dishes. We ate at several restaurants in The local area and at La Caleta ( 20 min flattish walk). Personal favourites - Rosso Sul Mere in La Caleta, La Nona, Acanto and Torre del Mirador ( all just next to the hotel). Would love to visit again. If you do go have a room with a sea view - we upgraded to one, it made a huge difference.

A relaxing stay
A very relaxing place to stay. We loved the service and the friendliness and our additional thoughts are more as a guide for those thinking about staying here. The age range of the guests is wide, with a significant number of elderly and infirm guests. This maybe is why the evening entertainment was aimed at a market of the 65+ in its style. This does not mean it was not enjoyable, just of a certain period. My one gripe is the quality of the pillows - which I do not feel is up to this price range of hotel. The breakfast was excellent and the location is superb.

I think there is a clear effort to try to charge you more and give you less, using Covid as an excuse. We paid for star prestige. It isn’t prestige anymore. This is a fabulous hotel and booked again for February. Location is amazing local amenities are fantastic too. The staff are amazing. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was the best we’ve heard in a hotel. But some things needed improvement for a 5GL hotel: The gym was open only to one room in an hour. So we couldn’t go at all because it was reserved for all mornings in our 4-night stay. They offered us a private studio to workout after we discussed it, but it was like hotel without gym for us. The massage in the spa was terrible. The WiFi didn’t work for a whole day! And it was exactly on the single raining day we had. They didn’t thought about fixing it or move to another provider for that day. The hotel has a big pool, good food and rooms are nice, but I wouldn’t visit it again because it’s not value for money.

Grand Hotel for adults
Beautiful grand hotel in an excellent location catering for wealthy and discerning clientele. Exquisite Canarian decor and very well maintained grounds with fantastic swimming pool ensure a comfortable stay. While the check in was prompt and efficient, I’ve found the staff unhelpful during checkout - nobody offered to take my luggage or at least help me to put it in my car. No effort from the reception staff to ask about my personal experience and opinion about the hotel. But great service at the restaurant and the bar.
