"These rooms are spacious as well as the bathroom. Staff was friendly and accommodating. I came in town for a concert and had to get dressed and ready in a timely fashion. I had to take a cold shower due to there being no hot water. Also, upon waking up in the morning, I discovered the desk where I had my bag of food, was covered with ants causing me to through away a good chunk of change due to the invasion. Even bags of donuts that were still sealed. Other than that, my stay was nice. I’d definitely come back."

"It was clean but out of date wegot a handicapped room that we did not ask for. There was a vent in bathroom that makes so much noise "

"Shower Door would not stay closed, had to jam it with a towel in order to shower without flooding the bathroom floor. Also, when checking in we were charged a previously undisclosed parking fee of $5.00, this for a large parking lot adjacent to a main highway."

"No pool. No restaurants around. All the family friendly restaurants about 15 minutes faraway at Colonial Heights area. It doesn’t feel safe after certain time around the hotel area."

"Room appeared clean. TV wasn’t working and from the reviews - it hasn’t been for a while. Room upstairs was extremely loud. Fortunately we only needed a few hours of sleep and then back on the road. I wouldn’t recommend though, and I’ll never go back. "

"The outside property was nice and rooms good, but all the first floor had dehumidifiers running 24/7 throughout the halls. I'm not sure about the other floor. It seemed a bit strange to have to run dehumidifiers in a hotel with carpet on the floor. A bit uncleanly. Our room also had an odor to it. Not sure if the carpet was wet before or old cigarette smoke. They have a gym; just 2 treadmills, a bike, and one weight machine."

"Even though I made a reservation there was no room for me when I got there. The front desk was very rude, unhelpful and completely unapologetic. Very disappointing especially as I am a platinum Marriott member. "
