Casita Coco – Your Lanzarote Home for Longer Stays | Work, Relax, Explore
PLANNING TO SPEND A FEW WEEKS OR EVEN A MONTH IN LANZAROTE? Casitas Santa Rita was created with longer stays in mind — with everything you need to feel at home from day one.
Casita Coco is designed for people who want more than a few days in Lanzarote — a place where you can settle in, live comfortably and make the island home for a while.
Perhaps you can work from anywhere. Perhaps you simply have the freedom to stay longer. Maybe you would like to swap grey, cold or rainy weather for Lanzarote's sunshine and mild climate. Or perhaps you finally have the time to discover the island without rushing.
A stay of several weeks is different from a short holiday. You need more than a comfortable bed and a beautiful terrace. You need a place where everyday life works.
That is exactly what Casita Coco is designed to offer.
Located in Guatiza, a quiet traditional village in northern Lanzarote, the casita gives you the independence of your own home, the comfort needed for a longer stay and an excellent base from which to experience the island at your own pace.
A HOME FOR LONGER STAYS
Casita Coco offers approximately 60 m² of indoor living space and a generous 45 m² private terrace.
The casita includes:
• a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed (180 × 200 cm)
• a fully equipped kitchen with oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer
• a comfortable living area
• fast Wi-Fi
• air conditioning and fans
• a bathroom with a large walk-in shower, toilet and bidet
• access to a washing machine
• a private terrace with dining area, sun loungers and parasol
The space is bright, peaceful and thoughtfully furnished with natural materials.
More importantly, it works as a home.
You can cook properly, do your laundry, work when you need to, spend an afternoon reading on the terrace and settle into your own rhythm without feeling that you are living out of a suitcase.
WORK FROM LANZAROTE
If your work can travel with you, why not take it somewhere with more sunshine?
Reliable Wi-Fi and comfortable living space make it easy to maintain your normal working routine. Once the laptop closes, the coast, volcanic landscapes, villages and walking trails of Lanzarote are waiting outside.
There is no need to turn every day into a holiday. You can work, live and enjoy the island at the same time.
And if you do not need to work, even better.
Casita Coco is equally suited to people who simply have something increasingly valuable: the time and freedom to stay longer.
TRADE GREY SKIES FOR LANZAROTE
Lanzarote is not only a winter destination.
Its mild climate, extraordinary light and outdoor lifestyle make the island an appealing place to spend several weeks at almost any time of year.
Escape a cold winter, a rainy spring, a grey autumn — or simply change your surroundings for a while.
When you stay longer, there is no pressure to fit Lanzarote into a one-week itinerary.
After a few days, a different rhythm begins.
You find your favourite place for morning coffee. You shop in the village. You discover restaurants you return to. You drive to the ocean because the weather looks perfect, not because it was scheduled for Tuesday.
And gradually, you discover the Lanzarote that short visits often miss.
HEATED POOL, GARDEN AND OUTDOOR LIVING
Casita Coco is part of Casitas Santa Rita, a small property with just two independent casitas.
The shared garden features a 7 × 3 metre heated swimming pool. There are also two traditional wind-protected zocos with seating, electricity and Wi-Fi.
Together with your private terrace, this gives you several different outdoor spaces for reading, working, having coffee or simply enjoying the Lanzarote sunshine.
LIVING IN GUATIZA
Guatiza is not a tourist resort — and for a longer stay, we consider that an advantage.
It is a small, traditional Canarian village where everyday life continues around you. There is a local supermarket and several restaurants within walking distance, while the famous Jardín de Cactus is nearby.
A car is recommended for making the most of a longer stay. From Guatiza you can easily reach the coast, beaches, villages, walking routes, vineyards and the spectacular landscapes of northern Lanzarote.
And because you are staying longer, you do not need to see everything at once.
Some days can simply be days at home.
PERSONALLY HOSTED
Casitas Santa Rita is not a hotel or a large holiday complex. There are just two casitas — Luna and Coco — and we personally look after the property and our guests.
We live on site and are happy to help with practical questions, restaurant recommendations and ideas for discovering Lanzarote beyond the usual tourist routes, while always respecting your privacy and independence.
Casita Coco is particularly suited to couples who value peace, comfort and the freedom to experience Lanzarote in their own way.
If you have the possibility to stay longer, we want to offer you something more than holiday accommodation.
A place where, after a few days, you stop feeling like a visitor.
Stay for a few weeks. Work if you need to. Relax when you want to. Discover Lanzarote without rushing.
And make Casita Coco your home for a while.
